Friendliest Country To Live

There is a belief that the grass is greener on the other side and that is why many people all over the world want to live or work away from their homes. However money is not the only factor people should consider when moving away from their home country. One should also consider if they can make new friends easily in that country, get good health benefits, find their own place to live, get their finances easily organized, finding a school for their children if they plan to bring their family. These are what they call the "integration factor."

HSBC commissioned a survey among expatriates who lived and work in different continents for years and they show which among the countries in the world is the friendliest to live and work for expatriates.

Bahrain ranks the highest while Canada on the second only, last year they were the top. However they think Bahrain's ranking was insignificant because only 35 expats from there were surveyed compared to the 450 surveyed in United Kingdom.

Movie Marathon

If you are already too tired to go out after all the hustle and bustle of the Holiday season. The best way for you to enjoy is to sit back and relax and watch a movie right inside your homes.

You can either rent, or buy some DVDs, but of course you are too lazy to do that because your damn to tired to move your ass and go out. Well, if you have a PC and internet connection that is reliable you can Download Torrents of movies you want to watch. Just make sure you have the name of the movie you want figured out and you are good to go.

I think most of the movie that were shown already has torrents. Even the movies that have not been shown in your country but were shown in other countries can be found in there, all you have to do is type in the movie name and hit search and wish there is a nice file uploaded.

Some torrent files are good while some have poor quality so make sure to check the quality of the movies you are going to download before you do. My sister has a number of movies and tv sitcom downloaded and the quality is really good.

Don't forget Push and Avatar on your movie marathon list.

Good Night Sleep

Sleep is the best beauty routine anyone could ever have. Lack of it will make your skin dry and your mood not so great. You will also experience low energy level and lack of concentration.

But since we all live in a fast phased world and sleep is a luxury especially to moms like me who juggle her time and we are almost like sleeping in metal beds where we wake so easily with small noises from our kids we need help from vitamins and anti-aging stuff to keep our sanity and beauty intact! Stress tabs and a lot of eating lots of fruits can help.

I Feel Great

After winning the fitnesse challenge more and more people come to me and asked how did my team do it. Most of them were moms who were like me and two of my team mates who were having a hard time getting back the usual shape they have when they were still single. Some would even consider Liposuction just to get rid of the ugly bulges around the waist and tummy that is the problem area of most moms like me have.

I feel great because my team now serves as an inspiration to many moms and women out there who wants to lose weight. That there is a simple way to lose weight and not hurt yourself, starve yourself or even go under the knife but by just eating right.

Never Go Under The Knife

Before I joined the Nestle Fitnesse challenge I was doing all sort of things to shrink my bulging belly. I tried the diet tea that will make you go visit the toilet frequently. I tried wearing "hot" pants to sweat all the fats away. I do sit-ups three times a day. Drank all those L-carnetine rich drink to speed-up my metabolism but none of them gave me the result I am happy about. I was almost ready to get a tummy tuck. Thank goodness for this challenge. Indeed fashion is the best motivation to lose weight. I lost 2.6 lbs in 2 weeks and that is mostly the fats around my waist. I recommend everyone to try this cereal diet coz it really works.

Save The Earth Patronize Green Web Hosting

Global warming is the issue of the world right now. This happens because the world produces too much carbon that heats up the surface of the planet than it actually needs.

Well did you know that the web host we use for our blog uses much energy to power their servers as the equivalent of 14 major power plants and that by 2020 web industry will be as much as a big polluter as the airline industry? According to Technorati there are more than 100 million blogs worldwide excluding the more than 72 million blogs from China! You can read more about this here: http://www.earthlingorgeous.com/2009/10/go-green-with-your-web-hosting.html

We can stop this now by patronizing green web hosting providers dedicated to lessen and neutralize their carbon emission by using wind energy and servers that produces less carbon than the average companies does.

There are webhosting companies out there committed to the environment and provide the greenest service in the green web hosting market. Super Green Hosing and Green Geeks are two of the green web hosting providers recommended by Web Hosting Geeks. You can choose a plan from $3.95 to $6.95 a month.

Remember Your Priorities

Sometimes we get caught with the things we are doing at present that we forgot why we are doing them. We get easily distracted and all of a sudden we are too far from where we wanted to be in the first place or we get lost.

We should learn to stop and think about what we are doing and why are we doing it from time to time so we don't loose track. By knowing our priorities we can sort out what we need and what we want and what is incidental.

Typhoon Ondoy Disaster

This typhoon, Typhoon Ondoy, has been the worst Metro Manila has ever seen since 1968. With just 6 hours of continuous rain 34.1 millimeter of rain flooded most areas in the region including some of the places that doesn't get flooded before. The NCR region where Metro Manila is located with 17 cities which includes Quezon City, Pasig, Marikina, Manila, and neighboring provinces such as Cainta, San Mateo and Aurora, Region 1, 2 and 3 is now under the state of calamity.

We were not so much prepared for this. If it would have been an ordinary rain we would be happy to do our usual rain harvesting with our rain barrels. But this is no ordinary rain. Water levels have reached critical level in dams surrounding the region and flood water have eaten up 3 story houses already.

Some people would have been resourceful enough to convert rain water barrels as a flotation device to be able to evacuate flood devastated areas but because the flood water rose too quickly nobody was able to do anything and most were trapped on their rooftop just to keep at least part of their body dried. I hope by tomorrow the flood has subside and that the death toll of 60 as of press time does not rise. Our fellowmen will need food, blanket and clothes, so we will be needing the help of anyone who can.

When To Let Go

When you no longer see eye to eye...
When you no longer grow together...
When it's an effort to do things you used to enjoy doing...
When you can no longer find your smile...
Then it's time to let go and move on.

Solving A Problem

A problem isn't a problem unless you can solve it. If you can't find a solution to it then it's not a problem but a situation in your life you have to accept. Instead of going against the flow you should accept the situation and do your best to live it. Resistance is futile. It will only drain your energy and everything positive you have in your life. You don't need anymore frustration in your life that you already have. If you've done your best to reach a certain goal and fail and you did it as many times as you could then it means it's not meant for you. God has other plans for you so just let go and accept. Do not resist. Sometimes what we want is not meant for us.

The Butterfly Principle

"The Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, so that he pursued the Israelites, who were marching out boldly." Exodus 14:8

Overprotective parents do their children a great injustice. The caterpillar that lies inside the cocoon will never become the beautiful butterfly if someone cuts open the cocoon prematurely. It is the struggle itself that allows the butterfly to emerge as a strong, new creature of nature.

God understands how necessary this process is. That is why we are allowed to experience difficult, often life-changing events. He even orchestrates them-all for our benefit. What the Israelites thought was a cruel joke when Pharaoh sent troops to pursue them after they had been freed and penned against the shore of the Red Sea became the stage for the most publicized miracle of all time-the parting of the Red Sea. Generation after generation has heard this incredible story of deliverance. God puts us against the "Red Seas" in order to show His power in and through us. If we do not know God can deliver, then we can never learn to trust Him. Circumstances that go beyond our capabilities of solving them place us at God's complete mercy. This is how He likes it.

Do not fear the calamity that comes your way. If you are faithful to Him in the test, you will see God's power manifested like never before. Just as the Israelites were able to sing a song of deliverance, you too will have your own testimony of the Lord's faithfulness; and you will be able to recall it for others to build your faith and theirs.

Better Safe Than Sorry

A couple of days ago I saw this horrible video of a nanny and one of the kids left for her care. I guess the parents were worried that something bad was happening to their kids while they are away and so they installed this surveillance cam.

I was so shocked to see how this nanny physically abused the child. I think the kid was 3 or 4 years old. The nanny kicked the child on the back and the kid dropped on the floor face down. She wasn't even contented with that she kicked the girl again on the face and then jumped on its back while squeezing the little girls ears. She kicked her so many times I don't know what permanent damage it will cause on the child. It was the scariest sight a parent could ever see. Good thing the parents immediately installed a surveillance cam and prevented the worst case scenario ever.

Success Flatters

Don't let other peoples preference and judgment stop you from doing what you want for yourself. What works for them may not actually work for you. However if their opinion is more important to you than what you feel then do it.

Many of us begin our careers with the goal of achieving success. If we haven't entered our work as a result of our real calling, we will eventually face a chasm of deep frustration and emptiness. Success flatters but does not provide a lasting sense of purpose and fulfillment. So often we enter careers with wrong motives-money, prestige, and even pressure from parents or peers. Failing to match our work with our giftedness and calling is like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. If that happens over an extended period, a person crashes.
Significance comes from fulfilling the God-given purpose for which you were made. Ask Him to confirm this in your own life.

How To Stay Young

Age is just numbers, but if you don't take care of your health and wellbeing your body will tell you how old you are. Here's some nice tips you can use to stay young and defy age.

1. Throw out nonessential numbers.
This includes age, weight and height.
Let the doctors worry about them.
that's why you pay them.

2. Keep only cheerful friends.
The grouches pull you down.
(keep this in mind if you are one of
those grouches)

3. Keep learning:
Learn more about the computer, crafts,
gardening, whatever. Never let the brain
get idle.

"An idle mind is the devil's workshop."
And the devil's name is Alzheimer's!

4. Enjoy the simple things.

5.. Laugh often, long and loud.
Laugh until you gasp for breath.

And if you have a friend who makes
you laugh, spend lots and lots of time
with HIM/HER.

6. The tears happen:
Endure, grieve, and move on.
The only person who is with us
our entire life, is ourself.
LIVE while you are alive.

7. Surround yourself with what you love:
Whether it's family, pets, keepsakes,
music, plants, hobbies, whatever.
Your home is your refuge.

8. Cherish your health:
If it is good, preserve it.
If it is unstable, improve it.
If it is beyond what you can
improve, get help.

9. Don't take guilt trips.
Take a trip to the mall, even to the next
county, to a foreign country, but NOT to
where the guilt is.

10. Tell the people you love that
you love them at every opportunity!

Protect Me From Arrogance

Slander, the false statement that maliciously ruins reputations, does not stalk alone. Its associate is the heart-attitude of arrogance. Arrogant people think that they have the right to exalt themselves by speaking ill of others. Wherever you see one of these ugly companions, the other is lurking nearby; both are dangerous and neither can be trusted. There is no limit to the authorities which such people will try to topple by their bad-speaking. As with every evil act, there is no satisfaction in being 'a little bad', and without repentance, sin will escalate until it engulfs its perpetrators.

Almighty God. Although it would be nice to think that everybody around me is reasonable and trustworthy, I know that is not so. I now pray for those whose arrogance seems unlimited, and who have no fear of anybody or even of Your authority. Please bring them to repentance and faith, before they face Your judgement. And please give wisdom and courage to my spiritual leaders so that they may guard the flock against the arrogant slander of those who seek to gain influence in the church. For Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.

Today's Prayer

Dear Lord God. Thank You for alerting me to those parts of my character that may not yet be fully given over to You. Please help me to see myself as you see me, and help me to choose not to follow the corruption that is in the world, nor to have a rebellious and proud heart. Where these things have become part of my character, help me to repent and choose to follow Jesus. I also pray for my friends and colleagues who have little idea of the judgement that awaits them; please bring them to salvation and enable me to be a good witness to the transforming power of Christ. In His Name. Amen.

Knowing How To Decide

Do you decide with your head or with your heart? If your heart says you were right but your head says you are not did you make the wrong decision or what?

"Rightly or wrongly ..." a friend was heard to say, "I made the decision". He implied that it was better to make any decision than not to decide at all. Alas too many businesses get trapped by decisions that they were not ready to make, and regret afterwards.

Of course, it is important to make decisions, but they need to be the right choices. God always makes the right choice. He knows how to judge between what is good and evil, right and wrong. And therefore His judgements are always 'safe' (as our legal friends would say); in other words, there is no possibility of any valid objection, because He is always right.

Peter wants his readers, Christians who would suffer for the Name of Jesus, to understand that they will be vindicated in the end. Taking the example of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all the wickedness they represented, (cf Gen 19:1-29) Peter says that God knew how to rescue Lot and punish his neighbours. This is important. There is no suggestion that Lot had any idea that God had him and the city in such sharp focus. And however much the wrong attitudes and actions around him must have grieved Lot, he could not have imagined how God would sort it all out. But God did.

Some of our doubting, in situations that seem insoluble, stems from forgetting that God knows how to decide and separate the fate of the godly from that of the ungodly. If we ignore this truth, we will either be panicked into sorting it out ourselves, or despair because we cannot see how God can do anything, or end up joining the wicked (at least in thought) because we blur the distinction which God sees very sharply. If we are to live godly lives in a wicked world, we need to be certain that God knows all about it, and that in the end, He will know how to rescue the righteous, and bring the reward of punishment to the unrighteous. So, do not falter or alter your course away from Jesus! God always gets it right! And, please share these verses with your Christian friends and colleagues - without this encouragement we can all be tempted away from trusting the Lord when life is tough.

Prayer: Dear Lord. Thank You that You really do know how to make the right decisions. And also that You will rescue those who love You. I believe that you will do this at the end of time, but I am grateful that Your hand of kindness and protection is upon me now, as well. Please forgive me when I doubt that You know what You are doing. Help me to trust that You will always do the right thing, at the right time. For Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.

Happiness does not heal, but happiness protects against falling ill.

If everyone could stay in an upbeat attitude then I guess we will all live longer and healthier. Life's stresses push us to do things that we think will relieve us but in the end they become a burden than real help.

"Happiness does not lengthen the life of seriously ill people, but it does prolong the life of healthy people. Happiness appears to protect against falling ill. One of the mechanisms behind that effect seems to be that chronic unhappiness causes stress, which on its turn reduces immune response."

The Devil And The Duck

There was a little boy visiting his grandparents on their farm..
He was given a slingshot to play with out in the woods.
He practiced in the woods; but he could never hit the target.
Getting a little discouraged, he headed back for dinner.
As he was walking back he saw Grandma's pet duck.

Just out of impulse, he let the slingshot fly, hit the duck square in the head and killed it. He was shocked and grieved!

In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the wood pile; only to see his Sister watching! Sally had seen it all, but she said nothing.

After lunch the next day Grandma said, 'Sally, let's wash the dishes'
But Sally said, 'Grandma, Johnny told me he wanted to help in the kitchen.'
Then she whispered to him, "Remember the duck?'
So Johnny did the dishes.

Later that day, Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishing and Grandma said, 'I'm sorry but I need Sally to help make supper.'
Sally just smiled and said, 'well that's all right because Johnny told me he wanted to help?
She whispered again, 'Remember the duck?' So Sally went fishing and Johnny stayed to help.

After several days of Johnny doing both his chores and Sally's; he finally couldn't stand it any longer.
He came to Grandma and confessed that he had killed the duck.
Grandma knelt down, gave him a hug and said, 'Sweetheart, I know. You see, I was standing at the window and I saw the whole thing, but because I love you, I forgave you. I was just wondering how long you would let Sally make a slave of you.'

Thought for the day and every day thereafter:

Whatever is in your past, whatever you have done... And the devil keeps throwing it up in your face (lying, cheating, debt, fear, bad habits, hatred, anger, bitterness, etc.)...whatever it is...You need to know that:
God was standing at the window and He saw the whole thing.

He has seen your whole life... He wants you to know that He loves you and that you are forgiven. He's just wondering how long you will let the devil make a slave of you.

The great thing about God is that when you ask for forgiveness; He not only forgives you, but He forgets.

It is by God's grace and mercy that we are saved.

Thank You Lord

DEAR GOD:
I want to thank You for what You have already done.
I am not going to wait until I see results or receive rewards; I am thanking You right now.
I am not going to wait until I feel better or things look better; until people say they are sorry or until they stop talking about me;until the pain in my body disappears; until my financial situation improves; until the children are asleep and the house is quiet; until I get promoted at work or until I get the job; I am going to thank You right now.
I am not going to wait until I understand every experience in my life that has caused me pain or grief;
I am not going to wait until the journey gets easier or the challenges are removed; I am thanking You right now.
I am thanking You because I am alive. I am thanking You because I made it through the day's difficulties. I am thanking You because I have walked around the obstacles.
I am thanking You because I have the ability and the opportunity to do more and do
better.

I'm thanking You because FATHER, YOU haven't given up on me.

God is just so good, and He is so good all the time..

Not Much Happy Thoughts

Excuse this blog for it's straying from it's original theme, a place where I post all my happy thoughts. A place where I share inspiring things and everything that is positive and encouraging.
I am in the dumps lately and I am very much distracted/disoriented and not myself lately.

I've been misplacing so many things and I don't have the will and patience to look for them. Our house is a huge mess because I am not the me I used to be.

Yeah sure I attend happy events and get so many nice stuff out of them, win a lot of contest and stuff. But all of them are too temporary and shallow. I guess I should change my perspective and stop over reacting, over analyzing and stop being a smart ass that I am sometimes and just be simple and uncomplicated.

I need to get away from me, my head and my environment, even for a brief time. I think I'm all burnt out. I feel so empty.

Say It Now

If you have something to say, say it now before the moment passes you by and you can no longer say it.

Life is fleeting. Tomorrow never comes. Today is all we have. What's said is said, what's done is done. There's no sense going over and over. This I know.

But the moment passed, I was not able to say what I wanted to say. Now, I just filled a suitcase full of regrets.

I wish I was a dumb person so I don't have to over analyze things. I wish I had a delete memory and feelings button. Everything will be easy.

Datach and ignore. A philosophy I have to learn.

I Need To Get Away

I had enough of sad I had no time to mourn. I need time alone. This is where I wanna go and this is what I want to do take one of those Caribbean vacations.

I heard that Breezers has a special all inclusive vacation package and that includes all meals, transfers, transportation and entertainment and everything I want that I could think of. All I need to do is bring myself to take a vacation alone. I heard Bahamas are great if you have company but how can I reflect if I have a company with me.

And maybe since its an all inclusive vacation I virtually need much to enjoy the place. They will do the rest to entertain me if I wanted to and not force me if I don't want to like a companion you'll take with you on this wonderful place.

But I think I'd just sulk in my room if I see honeymooners in there. That would suck much.

Lucky Messages

Nobody knows the future. But it's great to hear someone tell you something good. I'd rather hear good news than bad ones. I had enough of sad. I wanna be happy.

Life is so fleeting. People come and go. Today is all we have tomorrow never comes.

Stop over analyzing things. Things happens because they have to and they do. If it's bound to happen you can't stop it.

I Feel Like Humpty Dumpty

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall;
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the King's horses
And all the King's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again!

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall;
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
Threescore men and threescore more,
Can't place Humpty Dumpty as he was before.

Protect Your Home Computer

The first thing anyone who gets their computer set-up and hooked to the internet is to install their internet security. This is what I learned from my hunny who was so persistent in telling me to get an anti-virus software installed first before going online.

Good thing he had a software on hand that I installed immediately if not my PC would be a victim of those anti-malware prolifering some of the internet cafe I've been before.

There are so many free anti virus software available but you should be careful too because most of them are disguised to fool an unwitting victim. ZSecurity Anti-Virus is of the trusted brands you can use to protect your home computers safe and keep online intruders at bay. They offer a free-trial so you can see how effective they are at filtering files that can be harmful for your computer.

Be Gentle With Your Hands

I went to the hospital to they to have my hands checked because the sharp pain I feel on my wrist, middle finger and index finger are unbearable. I've been experiencing occasional pain before but last night was something I cannot bear.

The general doctor I consulted at St. Lukes hospital told me it's a mild case and the full blown syndrome can be prevented with the help of medicines and exercises. I hope so, I need my right hands!

Anyway, in case you are wondering how I managed to write a post. I am using my left hands for this. I am typing real slow but at least I still can. I need to make a living you know. Besides the painkiller is working now.

Short Stay At The ER

My sister is home for a two week vacation. On the second week she planned for a trip to Mt. Makiling or to an awesome vacation place like that of the Myrtle Beach Resorts. But instead of having a nice beachfront accommodation and a nice view of the ocean we were taken to a short stay at the hospital ER. My daughter had her first epileptic attack last Monday. It was a scary sight, I didn't know what to do.

There were no Myrtle Beach Resort like accommodation in the hospital when we were admitted and we were forced to stay at the ER because they were fully booked. It seemed there are so many children getting sick these days.

A day after we were moved out from the ER to a private room which is far more better than the ER. We have our own TV, comfort room and a nice view of the trees outside. It was not one of those nice Myrtle Beach Hotels
but its better than in the ER.

Never Wait Until They Are Gone

We just celebrated my father's 1st year death anniversary and ended the 1 year mourning or the tradition of babang luksa in Filipino. This is where we officially can wear other color of clothes than black and white. Although the mourning is over still the pain of loosing him will never ever go away.

We should never ever wait to show our loved ones that we love and give importance to their presence in their life after they are gone because they will no longer be able to experience it.

My father is loved and sorely missed. Let your light shine upon us.

Nobody's Perfect

I know I'm skinny but it's weird I have a big tummy. I hate my midsection so much that I will do anything possible to loose it. Well almost anything. Anything easy to do. Any painless way to do. Well honestly I've tried almost anything to be able to trim down my waistline or rather loose the jelly round protruding belly I have that always get in the way of a nice profile photo. I just hate how I look when I forgot to do a stomach in during photo shoots I look like I am pregnant or something. It's very ugly! I disappoint me. One way to get rid of them is to let go of rice forever. But gosh, I don't think I can do it. I can't help it I love rice. I don't think I will ever get full if there ain't rice on my meal.

Maybe I should try a lipo instead and get rid of this beer belly forever? But I am so scared of needles and the slicing and dicing they are gonna do with the procedure. Although they said there are painless procedures now. But still they are gonna insert some kinda stuff in my midsection and suck all the fats out. If I don't take care of my body, don't exercise and eat carelessly like eat as much rice as I want I will still get that old round belly back. Booo. Oh well I guess I just have to bare with what I have nobody is perfect anyway. Although you can't blame me if I try to be one right?

Happy Father's Day

The best gift a father can give to his child is the love he has for their mother. I think my dad loved my mom so much until his last breathe even if they argue a lot because I believe people argue because they still care. If people don't argue anymore they don't care.

Miss you Papa, wherever you are. I love you.

I Don't Want To Get Married Just To Be Divorced

I was reading an article earlier about how the people from Iceland was considered the happiest people on Earth. The introduction made me think twice on how on Earth did they became the happiest people on earth when they have the highest birth rate in Europe + highest percentage of women working outside the home + highest divorce rate. But still with that the country was considered to be the best place to live in the world.

I read through it and I was enlightened a bit. It tells how people in that country are happy go lucky people who don't give a heck about things. They don't care what other people say as long as they do what they want. Moral standards are out of the question as to them what is moral and not depends on your religion, environment and belief. Icelandic prime minister, Geir Haarde believe that this is because he have incorporated the best of U.S. and Europe in this country.

This is an excerpt from that article: "But none of this happiness would be possible without the hardy self-confidence that defines individual Icelanders, which in turn derives from a society that is culturally geared - as its overwhelming priority - to bring up happy, healthy children, by however many fathers and mothers. A lot of it comes from their Viking ancestors, whose males were rampant looters and rapists, but had the moral consistency at least not to be jealous of the dalliances of their wives - tough women who kept their families fed in the semi-tundra harshness of this north Atlantic island while their husbands forayed, for years at a time, far and wide. As a grandmother I met on my first visit to Iceland, two years ago, explained it: 'The Vikings went abroad and the women ran the show, and they had children with their slaves, and when the Vikings returned they accepted it, in the spirit of the more the merrier."

If all couples would get married just to get Dallas divorce lawyer when they have misunderstanding then I think I don't want to get married anymore ever. I would rather stay single than go have a Dallas family lawyer on my back all the time updating me about the case and what I can and can not get from the procedure.

I hope I won't need a DALLAS FAMILY LAWYER in my life though. I only want to be married to one man if not none at all. I am not from Iceland and I don't think I will like their ways because I was brought-up differently by my parents. My country does not have divorce because we believe in the sanctity of marriage.

A Bike For My Daughter

I should be getting my daughter her own kiddie bike by now. Her doctor recommended it. My hunny has been pestering me about it. But still I can't bring myself to buy that bike. One, because I don't want to commute with a bike on a public transport and two, because I don't want to carry such heavy stuff all the way to the mall and home. If only I have my hunny with me to carry it for me then fine I could buy as many bikes as I could but if it's just me I don't want too.

Speaking of bikes I was watching Wish Ko Lang last Saturday and was touched by this guy who was so dependent on his bike as means of transportation to and from school. Wish ko lang is a TV show that grants people their wish or at least gives them the motivation to achieve their dreams.

They made it appear that this guys bicycle was stolen and it was so obvious how the guy was so crushed upon learning he can never see his precious bike anymore. And when they finally showed him his bike which is a lot different from the old one, they renovated it, change chairs, handlebars and tires, made it brand new, he was so happy. He hugged and kissed the bike like a family member he haven't seen in a while. He called his bike his bestfriend.

Aside from fixing his bike, they gave this guy 4 year college scholarship and gave him a mountain bike he can use to commute much faster to and from school. Pretty neat.

The Suspense Is Killing Me

One of the first things my sister and I would be doing when she arrive is process the move-in papers pay the necessary fee needed and get someone to help do the interiors in the new condo. I am so excited at moving in. I wish we can move right now. It's all so convenient for us. We don't have to travel four hours round trip just to the places me and my daughter need to visit thrice a week. The new condo is just five minutes away from my daughter's school, her speech therapy clinic is just 10 minutes away, her occupational therapy clinic and doctor is five minutes away. Commuting is not a hassle anymore as the MRT is just six floors away.

I remember my sister commented about the exterior painting in the condo. She didn't like it and asked if we could arrange to have the exterior painted as well aside from the interior of the condo but I doubt it of course. I was thinking maybe we can do the painting by ourselves when she gets home but well she is on vacation she might not want to do that. Anyway we could hire the people from the Albuquerque Painting to do the job. I heard they can do murals too. I was thinking of some cloud painting on the ceiling of my bedroom, something my daughter would love to look at instead of look down from the patio, scary!

Light Up My Life

The adage that first impression always last can always be true especially wit our homes. Usually the first thing a guest will likely notice is the way you have landscaped the areas around your home. And if the guests arrives at night they will also notice the lighting.

You can enhance a certain area with fine arts lamps that can illuminate the care and creativy you have put into your home's surroundings. But the reverse can also happen if you made the wrong placement.

Good pieces can also spruce a nice conversation with your guests by strategically placing wonderful lighting products like chandeliers, lamps, wall mount scones, pendant lights, accent lights and more. There are hundreds of choices and ideas you can use at the house of lighting. They have picture lights, task and spot lights that can accentuate the photographs or painting you hang on your walls or wall lamps that can liven-up a dull hallway.

I Love Cookies

When I think about cookies I think of my childhood. I feel like cookie monster that I just can't get enough of them, specially the chocolate chip cookies. Delicious.

Cookies I think is one of the best food ever invented. It's the best comfort food ever that brings out the child in everyone. It's like coming home from school, sitting down on the couch and them mom comes and server cookies and milk.

Cookies is so versatile as well, you can have it as stand alone snack or have one after a filling meal as a desert. You can eat them anytime and anywhere and the expiration date is longer than the rest of the baked goodies. Cookies is also becoming one of the hottest items for corporate giveaways.

If you are looking for mouth-watering chocolate chips and other freshly baked goodies by at David's Cookies and explore their delicious selection. If you found something irresistible then go ahead and shop online. They offer a flat rate of $4.95 shipping. But if you order in bulk or choose their products on promo you can get the shipped for free. David's cookies online store also features frozen cookie dough, gift baskets and more.

Aside from cookies David Cookies also has tarts, cheesecakes, and other yummy deserts to die for.

Long Weekend Rest

I've been attending a lot of events one after another since Monday and I am feeling the toll of it. Aside from having tons of blog backlogs, I feel super super tired. I will be begging out of other events lined-up today like the Pussy Cat Dolls World Domination tour concert tonight and the Sandbox launch event, the Ako Mismo Dog Tag Day at the Fort on Friday and so much more. I want to stay at home this weekend and rest and do my blog backlogs. I am soooo tired. Wanna sleep.

I Fixed Our Flooring

Whenever there's a need for repairs around the house like the basic changing of bulbs or fixing the faucet or cover holes on our roof, I wish there was a man in the house. I think that is what men are made for, to be the handyman around the house and do the hard jobs inside the home. Too bad we don't have a man in the house and I don't have a man in the house so I just have to be one myself.

Could you imagine the tiny old me be able to move our refrigerator aside just to be able to be able to cover the entire floor flawlessly? Can you imagine me lift huge sofa and TV rack? Well I can do it honestly. I guess I have the energy for it.

But honestly if Houston Flooring was just nearby I would have immediately call them without hesitation to save me from all the lifting, dragging, sweating and all the nitty-gritty a handyman should be doing around the house. All I have to do is be cute and wipe the sweat off my man and prepare his meal after the hard work. Maybe give him a massage or two, prepare his shower and sing him a lullaby after.

Rain = Power Outage

I don't know it's only here in the Philippines but whenever it rains expect that power outage will come next. It's annoying really since most would rather stay at home than get wet outside. I don't know why it happens but probably because of wrong electrical installations by Meralco or because of the electric thieves tampering on the wiring's that make this happen.

This would not happen if those who install the electric facility here are as professional as the people from the Chicago Electrician. They are professionals who got their license and enrolled on the related course and got certificates before they can practice.

Well so far so good it's been raining for days here now almost a week. But the power and net is still on. Oooopps I should not talk about or I might jinx it.

Close To My Dream

As I little girl I dream of becoming a super model. When I became older I knew I can't because I am vertically challenged and so I dream of becoming a fashion designer. When I tried to take a course related to it I realized my family could not afford all the materials needed and so I took another route.

I became something I didn't expect me to be but yet it is so close to what I wanted to be. Not a front liner but behind the scene which is good in a way I get to enjoy both worlds.

A Place For The Family

Myrtle beach resort is one nicest place everyone can enjoy this summer with the family. It has everything for every member of the family like golfing for dad, shopping for mom and daughter, biking for junior and swimming and sight seeing at the top tourist destinations for the entire family.

I Wish For Sun, I Wish For Rain

When it summer is up we wish for rain when the rain is here we wish for the sun. It seems you never ever please anyone these days. It's been raining three days straight and flood and traffic was everywhere. We didn't expect the rain this early. Oh well, the weather has been unpredictable since the Global Warming phenomena was discovered.

Anyway, I wish for sun so my laundry would dry and so that we can get our roof fixed. It appears there are some holes on our roof. There were leaks here and there in the house especially at mom's room that we did not know of. Most of the clothes on mom's closet got wet and the flooring was semi-flooded too.

Our roof has been fixed one too many times but it seems we always get unprofessional guys here. We have to do it twice a year. Aside from other repairs in the house that the same cheap workers my mom gets. I wish that Atlanta Roofer was just around the corner so they can fix our roof for good and don't have to worry about ruined clothes when the rain comes. Or I wish I can do everything so we don't need to pay anyone to do the job right.

When My Memory Escapes Me

I've been accident prone lately or I am being too clumsy and careless? Either or I am so thankful that blog helps me keep the good memories in one place and read them back and see how happy the experience was.

I realized that everything is fleeting. You have to live by the moment and not for the future. Because you can never tell when you will be gone and how long will your memory will last.

When you can't have something you want let it go, if it's meant for you to have you don't have to work so hard to get it. It will find it's way to you. Now I understand this cliche saying "If you love someone set them free, if it's your they will come back, if it doesn't it never was."

Perks of Blogging

After taking a back seat from work because I have to stay home more often because of my daughter's condition my social life halted big time and I felt my life was boring. For someone who has enjoyed work and loved the work I did leaving it was not easy. But of course someone has to do it.

I Thank God that I found blogging, public blogging, social blogging and paid blogging. I am still able to do what I love, write, socialize, go to places and get paid doing it.

I am not yet at par with the probloggers when it comes to income but from someone who just started making income with my blog this August I think I am ahead than the usual phase. I am so thankful for this and for my mom who has been supportive of me to help me watch over my daughter when I have events to attend to.

Look Great Inspite Of The Crisis

The economic recession has slowed down most businesses in the world. Some are already in a depressed mood and some don't feel like looking good at these times because some would think it's inappropriate to look expensive these days. But who said looking good is equal to being expensive?

You don't need to buy new clothes all the time, all you have to do is invest on good accessories that will compliment all the clothing you already have in your wardrobe to create different looks.

For women you can invest in a number of scarves in different colors. Did you know there are 101 ways to wear a scarf? Or have a pair of those gladiator inspired shoes it's the in thing this summer but can also be worn in not so cold days with your dress, shorts, jeans or pants.

For men they can have a stock of ties with varying designs. Or they could invest in one or two piece of mens designer clothing that can be mixed and matched with the rest of the collection of clothes they already have in their closet.

The trick is to know how to mix and match your clothes so it will appear that you have tons of clothes even if you only have a few. Browse over fashion sites so you can see the latest trends and how you can play with a piece of accessory or clothing you have.

My Memories Of SM City North Edsa

Last weekend I was invited to see the new look of the first mall I ever visited in my life, SM City North EDSA that was built in 1985. I was amazed by the latest innovation and pleased with how they created a shoppers corner in the sky with The Sky Garden. I so love it.

It's above everything especially of the noise and the smog at the ground level, as SM North is at the edge of the busy street of EDSA going to the Northern part of the country.

Lush greenery, wonderful waterworks and a string of specialty food stores and shop are available at the Sky Garden and it will be open from 7AM to 2AM. Read more about this latest innovation of SM Supermalls The Sky Garden.

Mischievous Child

I wish my parents had more than three children. I wish that we are six or twelve so I have someone with me right now to help me out fixing the house. My mom is too old to help me move the furniture around although she is still very strong and energetic for her age. My daugther is not available for such task yet, but I would be training her real soon for all the house chores. She can pack away and wipe the floors when prodded. But other major task like washing the dishes, doing the laundry, change the curtains and so on and so forth is something she could not grasp yet.

When I was a child at her age though I can do all those things. I even watch my dad do simple carpentry like fix or install electrical stuff, do simple carpentry and even fixing the roof when it leaks. He was like a pro from Phoenix Roofer doing the job.

Because of my curiosity, he left a mark on my right hand. A cigarette butt mark because I was squeezing myself wherever he goes and watch him do whatever he has to do. Accidentally he was shaking the cigar and my hand met the cigarette so here remains the mark of my mischievousness that I think my daugther got from me.

Detach and Ignore

You can either view those two words negatively or you can view them in a more productive and positive light.

When one is too attached at a situation, place or thing, it is very hard for him to let it go. When you detach yourself from the emotion and materialism you will be free from all burdens and you will live happy.

If one gives importance to every little situation, place or thing, pleasing or annoying, one tends to get affected very easily. You have to ignore the annoying once and do not place too much regard on the pleasure then you will thread life lightly free from all burdens and cares.

Things To Live By

Health:

1. Drink plenty of water.
2. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner
like a beggar.
3. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less
food that is manufactured in plants.

5. Make time for prayer.
6. Play more games.
7. Read more books than you did in 2008.

9. Sleep for 7 hours.

Personality:

11. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what
their journey is all about.
12. Don't have negative thoughts or things you cannot control..
Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.

14. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
15. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip.
16. Dream more while you are awake.

mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness.
19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don't hate
others.
20. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present.
21. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.

32. Do the right thing!
33. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
34. GOD heals everything.
35. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
36. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
37. The best is yet to come.
38. When you awake alive in the morning, thank GOD for it.

iBlog5 5th Philippine Blogging Summit

It was the first time I attended a Blogging Summit and I was glad I did. Aside from meeting bloggers I only interact online I learned more about blogging and how to improve on my hobby that is now an industry on its own.

Congratulations to the UPIS for organizing such event that is now on it's 5th year and to Janette Toral who has been advocating education and information about the digital world. I will be looking forward to iBlog6 and hope that there will be more time for question and answer.

Tell Me What Are You Thinking?

"Worries, Worries, and more worries. This seems to be the consensus of more and more women these days in regards to where their partners eyes are and what they are thinking. I deal with more emotional issues from women in regards to this issue than not."

"Women all want to be the center of their partners attention. They also want to know exactly where he is looking and what he is thinking. But to what degree are we going to continue to imprison ourselves in the thought, where is he looking and what is he thinking? I have done a ton of research regarding the male mind and their inability to not look. They simply are just lookers /observers. Men are visual creatures and women these days work very hard at looking good. Notice how the media has also worked on us women to create these competitions amongst each other. How else can they sell their wrinkle and beauty products and make the millions of dollars on cosmetic surgery that they do these days? It's all out there! Morals have taken a back seat to making money. The innocent ones are the ones that suffer, as usual. I know I repeat this fact in just about everything I write, but it is the one fact that we must start to look at. WE are allowing the media to dictate and/or control our self-worth."

"In some relationships, I believe that a partner will get away with what they can. It is human to error. It's sad but true. From the day we are born we are challenging life and seeing what we can get away with. In any relationship, there will always be someone trying to get away with things. This may or may not be a conscious thought. As I said, we are only human."

"For a lot of men, staring at other women is really, a very bad habit. The men that do not do this, will agree that they are just plain rude and disrespectful. To know that one's partner is hurting or uncomfortable in a situation, but continues regardless of how they feel, is purely selfish, disrespectful and very mindless. For the man that degrades his partner, and falls for all the unrealistic images that Hollywood is telling him is the real thing, is truly as small minded as his penis. Harsh words, yes. but well deserving at the same time. This must be brought to the for-front immediately."

"Pornography is an absurd example to what real life sex should be like. It is abuse of another kind and it degrades men as well as women. It is cheap and very addicting. Pornography is like any other negative sexual device being offered to the world for money. It is destruction of reality and it is a persons choice to look or not too look. It is their choice to degrade themselves when taking part in pornography. It is their choice to truly understand and follow through on their commitment to their partner. It is also their choice to be all alone, wanted by no one that is real. These are all negative habits that a person can change if they want to."

Why do so many women feel that their partners are in fact being disrespectful? Why do so many men scream that they are NOT being disrespectful?

"There are millions of women that are battling this worry of where he is looking and what is he thinking. Most women continue to maintain their relationships and deal with life as best they can. Other women spend countless hours reading and paying therapists to tell them they are not crazy or imagining things. Couples spend way to much time debating this issue and always end up at square one. Both men and women need to work together and change their habits. Women must stop allowing their own insecurities to magnify their partners gestures and reactions which only results in a negative control over their happiness. Men must try to be more aware of what exactly triggers off their partners worries and not take her reactions so defensively."

"This does NOT say that women are to bow down & ignore what is obvious disrespect in some cases, but we need to really look at just how serious their looks are and how serious we are taking them. To allow a man's actions to effect how we see ourselves, is a definite mistake on our part. It is up to us to feel good about ourselves, no one else. It is very hard when we care what someone thinks about us. We tend to use that as our happiness meter. Too many women are allowing the weaknesses of men to determine their happiness and self-worth. We are real people and yes we have stretch marks and we have life wrinkles..which are as much a part of us as our curves. These characteristics are what make us that much more unique. For these men that think it is all about the poster girl, I feel very sorry for them. They are losing out on so much of the good, genuine, real stuff. Our own self-acceptance is the key in being able to overcome so many of the little things that we cannot change. That is why we must work on knowing ourselves and knowing that we are a special, unique person."

I am going to play the devils advocate here for a bit.
Men Say:

We look, yes but that's all.

It's not like we want to have sex with them.

Women worry about everything.

Women are always jealous of other women.

Women get mad at us when another women happens to catch our eye.

We do not go into strip bars to see girls, we go to talk to the guys.

We cannot help it if there are scantily dressed women serving us at that restaurant.

Its only a picture.

Women are immature when they try to stop us having fun.

Guys should be able to go to bars with their friends.

Guys don`t discuss woman's body parts when they are hanging out together.

If women trusted us, we should be able to go anywhere.

Alcohol does not make us flirtatious.

We married them, so what more do they want?

Women say:

He is looking at her and wishes I looked like her.

He is undressing her in his mind.

He is doing this to make me worry.

I wish I looked like her.

Why does he have to look every time a pretty girl walks past?

Men could also go to the do-nut shop to talk.

Men do not have to choose restaurants that advertise scantily dressed women waitresses.

We want to be our men's fun.

Bars are not for married people unless they are there together.

Men are always looking and discussing female body parts.

We do trust, but we also feel a thing called respect for them. Some places that men go are not respectable.

Alcohol makes everyone a bit more lose and flirtatious.

There is more to marriage than just saying we are married...that bottom line is very old.

"These are just a few oppositions that men and women deal with. We definitely think on a different wave length. We see things differently and we feel differently about certain issues also. That's what makes us men and women. The trick in being able to live together and respecting each other, is to understand that we are different and also to be able to make compromises for our partner's happiness. After all, is that not what its all about? Making each other happy!"

"Where he is looking or what he is thinking is an issue that will not be fixed in one article or even ten. But as long as we work at it and continue to communicate with each other, we will eventually find a common ground."

"These are my thoughts and they certainly do not include every single person on earth."

I would however be very interested:

Gents...on exactly & truthfully your thoughts on what are you thinking and where are you looking?

Ladies...I would love to hear your exact and truthful thoughts on how his actions make you feel!

A Week Of Bliss

If I could afford it, I would like to have a week of vacation in one of the prime vacation spots in the world. A place where every recreation facilities is available and a place where everything I could possibly need is beyond reach. Somewhere I can feel I own the place and not just any tourist. Hilton Head rings a bell when this kind of resort comes to mind specifically the Hilton Head Island.

The Hilton Head vacation rentals has a week of package stored for everyone. Their vacation planner can customize your stay for you depending on your preference and budget.

You can choose to stay in one of their fantastic beachside or ocean front properties and be stunned with the beautiful view of the sun set and sunrise. Or stay in a charming and historical setting that is ideal for those who want to just relax and watch the sun set into the water.

Because Of You

CREATION

A man said to his wife one day, 'I don't know how you can be so stupid and so beautiful all at the same time.

' The wife responded, 'Allow me to explain. God made me beautiful so you would be attracted to me;"

"God made me stupid so I would be attracted to you!"

Campaign For Autism Welfare

Hi,

Autism awareness is one of my biggest advocacy. Why? Because my daugther has it. I want to make the world a better place for her even when I'm gone.

Please, since you or you know someone running for the highest position in the country 2010 election tell them to include Autism Welfare in your/their platform. I really don't care which party you are from.

Read my plea here and be aware of the situation here in the Philippines: http://www.earthlingorgeous.com/2009/04/please-include-autism-welfare-in-your-platform.html

Thank you and God Bless.

All the best,

The Silent Treatment

A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving
each other the silent treatment. Suddenly, the man realized that the
next day, he would need his wife to wake him at 5 :00 AM for an early
morning business flight.

Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on
a piece of paper,

'Please wake me at 5:00 AM.' He left it where he knew she would find it.
The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM and he
had missed his flight.

Furious, he was about to go and see why his
wife hadn't wakened him, when he noticed a piece of
paper by the bed.

The paper said, 'It is 5:00 AM.. Wake up.'

Men are not equipped for these kinds of contests.
God may have created man before woman, but there is always a rough draft
before the masterpiece.

On The Same Boat

Only single parents know how hard it is to be one. The ordeal of doing things on your own. Be the mom and dad at the same time, attend to the needs of your kids and parents if you are living with them since your a single parent you need support of your parents for raising your kids.

I think single parents understand each other very well. Once you mention to a fellow single parent that you are a single parent some kind of sympathy happens. Maybe because you are on the same boat and you both know how it feels.

Single parents have a hard time finding a partner to share their troubles and dreams. Some are there for the fun of it but can't stay any longer when troubles arise especially when it involves raising the child. It will be a lot easier to find a single parent as a partner and those who are looking for one may find it at this single parent chat room. There are hundreds of member in there and signing up is free. If you know anyone who is interested let them check the site out, who knows, their happiness is just a click away.

Welcomed Changes

Fingers crossed, we are expecting to move out of the old house to the new one soon. We've been living in the old house for 20 years now. There are lots of memories in it. But things change and we have to move on. We are soon moving out to live a modern way, condo living that is and this old house will be remodeled to generate income since those who inquired to buy it didn't show up again.

We are thinking of putting up an apartment complex in place of the old big house. That would be perfect for those who don't have their own homes or for those who are working at the mall or market near us.

We will have to do some remodeling of the old house and install some home security for the benefit of those who will be renting the place. Since it will be an apartment complex there will be lots of people coming in and out of the place. We will make sure that everyone who rents the place knows each other and we know them enough and keep their important details in case of unnecessary events. At this time an age you can never be too sure.

Going Green For Autism

Going Green for Autism ASP launched “Going Green for Autism”. Green, being the official color of ASP, and “going green” for reusing and recycling, this project aimed to educate the public on autism and at the same time raise funds for the programs and services for ASP.

In this endeavor, ASP National, partners with ASP Lagro Chapter, one of the two chapters located in Quezon City. Based in Lagro Elementary School (LES), they cater to the needs of persons with autism and their families enrolled in LES, as well as nearby schools and barangays.

Through ASP’s email and text (I-Blast) campaigns, donations were delivered to the office by ASP members and supporters who believe in our cause. The response to the call to donate was overwhelming, given the short time to campaign. Special recognition to Speciabilities Development Center, (a school catering to children with special needs located in Biak na Bato, QC) for campaigning for this project and partnering with us as one of the collection centers. The three-day sale was able to raise a modest amount of P21,706.50 from the sale of used items such as clothes, bags, shoes, books, toys, furniture and accessories. Most of all it strengthened the bond among the officers of ASP National and the officers of ASP Lagro Chapter, as they volunteered together in the sorting, packaging, delivery, down to the selling.

This project was also a realization that the activity could be a vehicle to develop a positive relationship among members, and raise autism awareness in the community. ASP would like to thank Atty. Galimba, the Barangay Captain of Greater Lagro, Quezon City for providing a space at the Barangay Hall Compound during the three day garage sale, the teachers of LES, the volunteers, Mr. Amorin, ML Building Administrator, for allowing the use of the vacant units as storage rooms for the donated items, and all the donors. Thank you for being Autism Angels and Going Green for Autism! ASP works hard to empower ASP Chapters and families dealing with autism. You Are Not Worthless

"Have any of you ever thought of yourselves as better than someone else, or found yourself judging another too quickly before you really got to know the real person behind the mask?

Well we each have our own viewpoints of life and what some may find acceptable others may find inappropriate and turn away from their behaviour outlook on life thinking that they are a bad influence on others and so on.

Humanity should be far more accepting towards others because all to often people can easily make others feel like the vehicles in this video and in doing so making their lives worse, so try not to judge others too quickly because all to often people get the wrong impressions about others without bothering to see their inner beauty.

For those of you who do not visit parents/grandparents, sick relatives (The list goes on) all that often, I am sure that they would love to know that they are still appreciated and that you care because people can easily feel like a burden to others and they need to know how you really feel about them by not just telling them but being their and truly showing that you care.

If you feel that you are like one of those poor vehicles, then just remember that there is always someone who cares."

What's On Your List

If you were to die tomorrow, what would you do today? Would it be a hectic day filled with a million things to tick off your life's list, or would it be a spontaneous day of leisure, relaxation, a day with your loved ones and watch the sunset and the beautiful cloud formations in the sky and the things you hardly notice if you have the rest of your life ahead of you? I bet you haven't thought about this have you with the so many things going on in your life right now you never really thought about what defines your life and what will matter most to you when you have nothing to look forward to.

We Are In It Together

I've been in a long distance relationship (LDR) for five years now and I have to say its not a stroll in the park. There are times when I wanted to give up out of all the frustrations I feel mainly caused by the distance we have. Can you needing someone so badly but because your separated physically they can't be there for you. "Can not touch, can not hold, can not be together!" are you familiar with that song?

Anyway, since we are in it together the distance doesn't matter as long as we love each other. As long as each stay faithful with the promises made and the trust remains intact, the love will endure the geographical separation.

It also helps when you have a support system not just the two of you who believes in your relationship keeping a distance relationship is not impossible. Right?

Easter Message

"Be grateful that you don't have everything you want... that means you have the opportunity to be happier tomorrow than you are today."

A very good friend and boss sent me this message yesterday and it is so true. I think everyone should be reminded of this truth and be content with what they have now. Being greedy will not make you happy. Tomorrow is another day to get what you want and get close to what you desire. Always have faith and face everyday with a smile.

Happy Easter!

Why Do We Cover Statues Of Saints On Maundy Thursday?

Here is the answer from the Minute Meditation: "Empty your home of your religious art, so that on Easter you can bring the art back to your walls in celebration. Jesus leaves the ordinary for the extraordinary."

In the city, the Holy Week traditions died slowly, you can only see this tradition on Catholic dominated provinces. Most are out on the beach and enjoying the long vacation. Do you think this will all be a thing of the past as it seems people are becoming agnostic? I wonder how much more will turn this way after they watch Angels and Demons, better yet read the book.

Reflection

Only when the clamor of the outside world is silenced will you be able to hear the deeper vibration. Listen carefully. Sarah Ban Breathnach

Sometimes we are too distracted by the outside influences that we forget to give importance about the things that we really want, the things we need, and the things that will make us happy. If you are about to make the biggest decision in your life reflect on it.

Spoiled Vacation

Imagine yourself enjoying a great time with the ones you love. Walking side by side while holding hands on a white beach at sunset as you enjoy the fresh ocean breeze brush through your skin. A waiter await by the cabana and serves fresh fruits as you arrive. Then suddenly you woke up, it's all just a dream and you realized your not in a white beach but on a stiff hospital bed and you breathe hospital stench not ocean breeze.

That must suck really bad. Well that's how bad my hunny and I feel when he got sick a month ago. He has not got his health card yet and so all the money he saved for a vacation with me got spoiled and we have to wait for a couple of months so he can save the same amount again. Paying in cash for hospital bills and medical bills is no joke! They are very expensive!

That is why I think everyone should get a health insurance like that of Kaiser Permanente. They have health insurance plan that covers individuals and families depending on your lifestyle and financial needs.

Kaiser Health Insurance offers its health care services through a network of over 12,000 physicians belonging to Permanente Medical Groups; 30 medical centers and more than 400 medical offices. Kaiser Permanente California was awarded by the Patient Advocate as the highest performance rating in the state for the past six years.
