Friendliest Country To Live

There is a belief that the grass is greener on the other side and that is why many people all over the world want to live or work away from their homes. However money is not the only factor people should consider when moving away from their home country. One should also consider if they can make new friends easily in that country, get good health benefits, find their own place to live, get their finances easily organized, finding a school for their children if they plan to bring their family. These are what they call the "integration factor."

HSBC commissioned a survey among expatriates who lived and work in different continents for years and they show which among the countries in the world is the friendliest to live and work for expatriates.

Bahrain ranks the highest while Canada on the second only, last year they were the top. However they think Bahrain's ranking was insignificant because only 35 expats from there were surveyed compared to the 450 surveyed in United Kingdom.

Movie Marathon

If you are already too tired to go out after all the hustle and bustle of the Holiday season. The best way for you to enjoy is to sit back and relax and watch a movie right inside your homes.

You can either rent, or buy some DVDs, but of course you are too lazy to do that because your damn to tired to move your ass and go out. Well, if you have a PC and internet connection that is reliable you can Download Torrents of movies you want to watch. Just make sure you have the name of the movie you want figured out and you are good to go.

I think most of the movie that were shown already has torrents. Even the movies that have not been shown in your country but were shown in other countries can be found in there, all you have to do is type in the movie name and hit search and wish there is a nice file uploaded.

Some torrent files are good while some have poor quality so make sure to check the quality of the movies you are going to download before you do. My sister has a number of movies and tv sitcom downloaded and the quality is really good.

Don't forget Push and Avatar on your movie marathon list.

Clean-up Software

I'll be reformatting my computer soon because it's ridiculously slow lately. I guess because I have too many unnecessary files stored cluttering my PCs memory. But before I do that I need to sort out files, rename folders and deleted files that are duplicated but this will be a hard task. I will also be installing new windows, probably a Windows 7 and will be getting another stick of RAM.

I want to try out this free duplicate file finder software to make my computer clean-up easier. It can find repeated files saved and you can immediately select which file you want deleted without without any hassle.

However I am kinda apprehensive using this Clone Remover program because most of the files I have are photos and I don't want to lose them because they can never be replaced. They are memories of the past captured.

Call me the modern day pack rack but I won't let go of a photograph. If I lose my memory and want to take a glimpse of my life pictures will be very handy for me to see who I was, who were my friends, and what made me happy at a certain point in my life.

I wish someone could give me a feedback on how this thing works so I can have an easy clean-up of my files and PC.

Driving Lessons

Looks like I'm gonna take driving lessons soon because everyday is getting harder to commute when we go out with my senior mom and my growing special girl. I was so exhausted yesterday when we went to watch AVATAR on IMAX because of the long lines and traffic we have to endure just to get home.

I'm just worried that if I indeed learn how to drive, get a car and drive along Metro Manila streets that I would also need to learn basic car maintenance thingy in case of emergency. Would I still need a Motor Trade Insurance or something like that? I don't have a clue. Or maybe just get a driver and mechanic to do all the complicated things for me. Blah. Sorry just thinking out loud.

Good Night Sleep

Sleep is the best beauty routine anyone could ever have. Lack of it will make your skin dry and your mood not so great. You will also experience low energy level and lack of concentration.

But since we all live in a fast phased world and sleep is a luxury especially to moms like me who juggle her time and we are almost like sleeping in metal beds where we wake so easily with small noises from our kids we need help from vitamins and anti-aging stuff to keep our sanity and beauty intact! Stress tabs and a lot of eating lots of fruits can help.

I Feel Great

After winning the fitnesse challenge more and more people come to me and asked how did my team do it. Most of them were moms who were like me and two of my team mates who were having a hard time getting back the usual shape they have when they were still single. Some would even consider Liposuction just to get rid of the ugly bulges around the waist and tummy that is the problem area of most moms like me have.

I feel great because my team now serves as an inspiration to many moms and women out there who wants to lose weight. That there is a simple way to lose weight and not hurt yourself, starve yourself or even go under the knife but by just eating right.

Never Go Under The Knife

Before I joined the Nestle Fitnesse challenge I was doing all sort of things to shrink my bulging belly. I tried the diet tea that will make you go visit the toilet frequently. I tried wearing "hot" pants to sweat all the fats away. I do sit-ups three times a day. Drank all those L-carnetine rich drink to speed-up my metabolism but none of them gave me the result I am happy about. I was almost ready to get a tummy tuck. Thank goodness for this challenge. Indeed fashion is the best motivation to lose weight. I lost 2.6 lbs in 2 weeks and that is mostly the fats around my waist. I recommend everyone to try this cereal diet coz it really works.

People can virtually do anything online now, buying and selling of items is one of the most popular use of internet these days. However, there are so many scams online today and some feel uncomfortable giving their credit card number online.

Well, fret no more. There is now virtual credit cards that one can use solely for online purchases and transactions. EntroPay Virtual VISA card is the first among the prepaid cards that is not tied to a persons bank account. The card can also be used to about one million ATMs worldwide. The best part is you get the convenience of having a credit card minus the problem of accumulating debt and you can reload anytime by logging in your account.

Opening an EntropPay account is free and you can load amount using your credit or debit card with a charge of 4.95%. You can also get payments from other merchant via the prepaid card an it will be charge 1.95% while transfer between account cost about $0.20. For such a reason you have to return funds to a personal credit or credit card you will be charged $6.00.

With this pre paid card you can now transact in multiple currencies worldwide and you can immediately find out how much will you be charged before you finish a transaction.

Gold And Pearl Jewelry To Tame A Cranky Wife

I learned something a couple days ago when almost everyone around me was grumpy. I learned that the people's response to you is a reflection of how you respond to them. Like if they were grumpy to you and you respond cranky to them then that will spark a huge argument and misunderstanding. To avoid such you should respond not according to how they acted but how you want the situation turn out to be.

If they are being annoying or irritating respond cold or detached with their anger and keep repeating to yourself that "My good mood will not be affected by your good mood" then leave if you can. If you can't just hold their hand or embrace them and tell them "You look so cute when you are cranky."

But it also depends on who was being irritable and your relationship to them. If it's the husband and wife a gold and pearl jewelry will do the trick! Oriental pearls sells fresh water and cultured pearls at half the price you get from jewelry store because you don't have to pay for the middleman's fee. All jewelries sold here are authentic and of high quality that will truly get the nod of your wife.

Math Tutor Online

Kids these days are more prone to using the computers playing online games or enjoying their social network. I talked to an education expert the other day and he said there is nothing wrong with this because computers are the new tools for learning. Technology is something we all should embrace and make it work for us and not against us. We just have to be aware about what sites our children are checking out and block all possible bad sites they can encounter.

This online math tutoring service is really good since those kids who would rather face the computer rather than their notebook bearing their homework will be enticed to learn more here. It's not as intimidating as an in-person tutor but an online math tutor they can open up easily and ask without hesitation.

Tutor Vista's online Math help is designed to give assistance to anyone needing help in this subject be it be for K-12, College or AP exams they can easily help you with their 24x7 private tutoring ready to assist you.

Save The Earth Patronize Green Web Hosting

Global warming is the issue of the world right now. This happens because the world produces too much carbon that heats up the surface of the planet than it actually needs.

Well did you know that the web host we use for our blog uses much energy to power their servers as the equivalent of 14 major power plants and that by 2020 web industry will be as much as a big polluter as the airline industry? According to Technorati there are more than 100 million blogs worldwide excluding the more than 72 million blogs from China! You can read more about this here: http://www.earthlingorgeous.com/2009/10/go-green-with-your-web-hosting.html

We can stop this now by patronizing green web hosting providers dedicated to lessen and neutralize their carbon emission by using wind energy and servers that produces less carbon than the average companies does.

There are webhosting companies out there committed to the environment and provide the greenest service in the green web hosting market. Super Green Hosing and Green Geeks are two of the green web hosting providers recommended by Web Hosting Geeks. You can choose a plan from $3.95 to $6.95 a month.

Remember Your Priorities

Sometimes we get caught with the things we are doing at present that we forgot why we are doing them. We get easily distracted and all of a sudden we are too far from where we wanted to be in the first place or we get lost.

We should learn to stop and think about what we are doing and why are we doing it from time to time so we don't loose track. By knowing our priorities we can sort out what we need and what we want and what is incidental.

Typhoon Ondoy Disaster

This typhoon, Typhoon Ondoy, has been the worst Metro Manila has ever seen since 1968. With just 6 hours of continuous rain 34.1 millimeter of rain flooded most areas in the region including some of the places that doesn't get flooded before. The NCR region where Metro Manila is located with 17 cities which includes Quezon City, Pasig, Marikina, Manila, and neighboring provinces such as Cainta, San Mateo and Aurora, Region 1, 2 and 3 is now under the state of calamity.

We were not so much prepared for this. If it would have been an ordinary rain we would be happy to do our usual rain harvesting with our rain barrels. But this is no ordinary rain. Water levels have reached critical level in dams surrounding the region and flood water have eaten up 3 story houses already.

Some people would have been resourceful enough to convert rain water barrels as a flotation device to be able to evacuate flood devastated areas but because the flood water rose too quickly nobody was able to do anything and most were trapped on their rooftop just to keep at least part of their body dried. I hope by tomorrow the flood has subside and that the death toll of 60 as of press time does not rise. Our fellowmen will need food, blanket and clothes, so we will be needing the help of anyone who can.

When To Let Go

When you no longer see eye to eye...
When you no longer grow together...
When it's an effort to do things you used to enjoy doing...
When you can no longer find your smile...
Then it's time to let go and move on.

Solving A Problem

A problem isn't a problem unless you can solve it. If you can't find a solution to it then it's not a problem but a situation in your life you have to accept. Instead of going against the flow you should accept the situation and do your best to live it. Resistance is futile. It will only drain your energy and everything positive you have in your life. You don't need anymore frustration in your life that you already have. If you've done your best to reach a certain goal and fail and you did it as many times as you could then it means it's not meant for you. God has other plans for you so just let go and accept. Do not resist. Sometimes what we want is not meant for us.

Installing The Right Driver

My computer doesn't have a big memory and so I don't install a lot of software in it, having a full memory just makes the computer work slow and it's a hassle when you have to do something fast.

Don't you just hate it when you get a file via e-mail and you don't have the right file extension dat driver for it? If you are not familiar with dat files they are a raw code that means data. Technically it can be opened with a simple text editor however editing or modifying it that way won't help especially if you don't have the file extension dat software to make it function properly.

I discovered driver cure and it solved all my software and file extension dat problems. I don't need to install so many software or plug-in in my pc by having this driver.

The Butterfly Principle

"The Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, so that he pursued the Israelites, who were marching out boldly." Exodus 14:8

Overprotective parents do their children a great injustice. The caterpillar that lies inside the cocoon will never become the beautiful butterfly if someone cuts open the cocoon prematurely. It is the struggle itself that allows the butterfly to emerge as a strong, new creature of nature.

God understands how necessary this process is. That is why we are allowed to experience difficult, often life-changing events. He even orchestrates them-all for our benefit. What the Israelites thought was a cruel joke when Pharaoh sent troops to pursue them after they had been freed and penned against the shore of the Red Sea became the stage for the most publicized miracle of all time-the parting of the Red Sea. Generation after generation has heard this incredible story of deliverance. God puts us against the "Red Seas" in order to show His power in and through us. If we do not know God can deliver, then we can never learn to trust Him. Circumstances that go beyond our capabilities of solving them place us at God's complete mercy. This is how He likes it.

Do not fear the calamity that comes your way. If you are faithful to Him in the test, you will see God's power manifested like never before. Just as the Israelites were able to sing a song of deliverance, you too will have your own testimony of the Lord's faithfulness; and you will be able to recall it for others to build your faith and theirs.

Sporting Events To Watch Out For

Our favorite boxing hero in the Philippines Manny Pacquiao will have another fight this year and this time with Miguel Cotto on November 14, 2009 . I think this will be his last fight for the year because he intends to run for a government position next year. If he wins a government position I think this will be his last fight. He had been interviewed before and he shows interest of retiring from boxing soon.

Another sporting event I am excited about is the upcoming F1 night race at Singapore. Thanks to Direct TV I will be able to watch this sporting event with awesome crisp images just like watching the show for real.

If you want an opportunity to watch great sporting events right inside your own homes then you should subscribe to a DirctetTV packages from a reliable Directv operator where you can get more than 265 channels and even a 5 month free subscription. Subscription starts at $29.95.

Better Safe Than Sorry

A couple of days ago I saw this horrible video of a nanny and one of the kids left for her care. I guess the parents were worried that something bad was happening to their kids while they are away and so they installed this surveillance cam.

I was so shocked to see how this nanny physically abused the child. I think the kid was 3 or 4 years old. The nanny kicked the child on the back and the kid dropped on the floor face down. She wasn't even contented with that she kicked the girl again on the face and then jumped on its back while squeezing the little girls ears. She kicked her so many times I don't know what permanent damage it will cause on the child. It was the scariest sight a parent could ever see. Good thing the parents immediately installed a surveillance cam and prevented the worst case scenario ever.

GE home security system is one of the trusted brands when it comes to home security. They have everything you need to protect your homes from bad elements. They have a complete line of home security that includes video surveillance, security cameras, burglar alarm system and interactive monitoring.

The GE alarm system uses state-of-the art technology compared to what is offered by other home security system companies. GE home security can provide you the best wireless home security for your home and family.
You can protect your family against the nanny from hell or from other bad elements that may proliferate these days because of the depressing times.

Success Flatters

Don't let other peoples preference and judgment stop you from doing what you want for yourself. What works for them may not actually work for you. However if their opinion is more important to you than what you feel then do it.

Many of us begin our careers with the goal of achieving success. If we haven't entered our work as a result of our real calling, we will eventually face a chasm of deep frustration and emptiness. Success flatters but does not provide a lasting sense of purpose and fulfillment. So often we enter careers with wrong motives-money, prestige, and even pressure from parents or peers. Failing to match our work with our giftedness and calling is like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. If that happens over an extended period, a person crashes.
Significance comes from fulfilling the God-given purpose for which you were made. Ask Him to confirm this in your own life.

How To Stay Young

Age is just numbers, but if you don't take care of your health and wellbeing your body will tell you how old you are. Here's some nice tips you can use to stay young and defy age.

1. Throw out nonessential numbers.
This includes age, weight and height.
Let the doctors worry about them.
that's why you pay them.

2. Keep only cheerful friends.
The grouches pull you down.
(keep this in mind if you are one of
those grouches)

3. Keep learning:
Learn more about the computer, crafts,
gardening, whatever. Never let the brain
get idle.

"An idle mind is the devil's workshop."
And the devil's name is Alzheimer's!

4. Enjoy the simple things.

5.. Laugh often, long and loud.
Laugh until you gasp for breath.

And if you have a friend who makes
you laugh, spend lots and lots of time
with HIM/HER.

6. The tears happen:
Endure, grieve, and move on.
The only person who is with us
our entire life, is ourself.
LIVE while you are alive.

7. Surround yourself with what you love:
Whether it's family, pets, keepsakes,
music, plants, hobbies, whatever.
Your home is your refuge.

8. Cherish your health:
If it is good, preserve it.
If it is unstable, improve it.
If it is beyond what you can
improve, get help.

9. Don't take guilt trips.
Take a trip to the mall, even to the next
county, to a foreign country, but NOT to
where the guilt is.

10. Tell the people you love that
you love them at every opportunity!

Protect Me From Arrogance

Slander, the false statement that maliciously ruins reputations, does not stalk alone. Its associate is the heart-attitude of arrogance. Arrogant people think that they have the right to exalt themselves by speaking ill of others. Wherever you see one of these ugly companions, the other is lurking nearby; both are dangerous and neither can be trusted. There is no limit to the authorities which such people will try to topple by their bad-speaking. As with every evil act, there is no satisfaction in being 'a little bad', and without repentance, sin will escalate until it engulfs its perpetrators.

Almighty God. Although it would be nice to think that everybody around me is reasonable and trustworthy, I know that is not so. I now pray for those whose arrogance seems unlimited, and who have no fear of anybody or even of Your authority. Please bring them to repentance and faith, before they face Your judgement. And please give wisdom and courage to my spiritual leaders so that they may guard the flock against the arrogant slander of those who seek to gain influence in the church. For Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.

Today's Prayer

Dear Lord God. Thank You for alerting me to those parts of my character that may not yet be fully given over to You. Please help me to see myself as you see me, and help me to choose not to follow the corruption that is in the world, nor to have a rebellious and proud heart. Where these things have become part of my character, help me to repent and choose to follow Jesus. I also pray for my friends and colleagues who have little idea of the judgement that awaits them; please bring them to salvation and enable me to be a good witness to the transforming power of Christ. In His Name. Amen.

Gold Investments

You may not be worrying about retirement right now because you believe it's too early for you to worry about it. But believe me you can never be too early thinking about your financial future.

Among the things you can do is invest your money on stocks and bonds by opening an Individual Retirement Account or IRA. An IRA is the best investment you can have during retirement because this can help you earn and save at the same time.

Gold is the most powerful metal and investment anyone could ever have. It never loses its value but instead increase in time especially if you are holding the purest of them all.

If you have an IRA, you can ask your banks on how to put gold in an IRA. This is one good investment aside from the stock certificates and bonds you have. Although I believe banks have different rules when it comes to Gold IRA transfers.

Knowing How To Decide

Do you decide with your head or with your heart? If your heart says you were right but your head says you are not did you make the wrong decision or what?

"Rightly or wrongly ..." a friend was heard to say, "I made the decision". He implied that it was better to make any decision than not to decide at all. Alas too many businesses get trapped by decisions that they were not ready to make, and regret afterwards.

Of course, it is important to make decisions, but they need to be the right choices. God always makes the right choice. He knows how to judge between what is good and evil, right and wrong. And therefore His judgements are always 'safe' (as our legal friends would say); in other words, there is no possibility of any valid objection, because He is always right.

Peter wants his readers, Christians who would suffer for the Name of Jesus, to understand that they will be vindicated in the end. Taking the example of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all the wickedness they represented, (cf Gen 19:1-29) Peter says that God knew how to rescue Lot and punish his neighbours. This is important. There is no suggestion that Lot had any idea that God had him and the city in such sharp focus. And however much the wrong attitudes and actions around him must have grieved Lot, he could not have imagined how God would sort it all out. But God did.

Some of our doubting, in situations that seem insoluble, stems from forgetting that God knows how to decide and separate the fate of the godly from that of the ungodly. If we ignore this truth, we will either be panicked into sorting it out ourselves, or despair because we cannot see how God can do anything, or end up joining the wicked (at least in thought) because we blur the distinction which God sees very sharply. If we are to live godly lives in a wicked world, we need to be certain that God knows all about it, and that in the end, He will know how to rescue the righteous, and bring the reward of punishment to the unrighteous. So, do not falter or alter your course away from Jesus! God always gets it right! And, please share these verses with your Christian friends and colleagues - without this encouragement we can all be tempted away from trusting the Lord when life is tough.

Prayer: Dear Lord. Thank You that You really do know how to make the right decisions. And also that You will rescue those who love You. I believe that you will do this at the end of time, but I am grateful that Your hand of kindness and protection is upon me now, as well. Please forgive me when I doubt that You know what You are doing. Help me to trust that You will always do the right thing, at the right time. For Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.

Happiness does not heal, but happiness protects against falling ill.

If everyone could stay in an upbeat attitude then I guess we will all live longer and healthier. Life's stresses push us to do things that we think will relieve us but in the end they become a burden than real help.

"Happiness does not lengthen the life of seriously ill people, but it does prolong the life of healthy people. Happiness appears to protect against falling ill. One of the mechanisms behind that effect seems to be that chronic unhappiness causes stress, which on its turn reduces immune response."

The Devil And The Duck

There was a little boy visiting his grandparents on their farm..
He was given a slingshot to play with out in the woods.
He practiced in the woods; but he could never hit the target.
Getting a little discouraged, he headed back for dinner.
As he was walking back he saw Grandma's pet duck.

Just out of impulse, he let the slingshot fly, hit the duck square in the head and killed it. He was shocked and grieved!

In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the wood pile; only to see his Sister watching! Sally had seen it all, but she said nothing.

After lunch the next day Grandma said, 'Sally, let's wash the dishes'
But Sally said, 'Grandma, Johnny told me he wanted to help in the kitchen.'
Then she whispered to him, "Remember the duck?'
So Johnny did the dishes.

Later that day, Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishing and Grandma said, 'I'm sorry but I need Sally to help make supper.'
Sally just smiled and said, 'well that's all right because Johnny told me he wanted to help?
She whispered again, 'Remember the duck?' So Sally went fishing and Johnny stayed to help.

After several days of Johnny doing both his chores and Sally's; he finally couldn't stand it any longer.
He came to Grandma and confessed that he had killed the duck.
Grandma knelt down, gave him a hug and said, 'Sweetheart, I know. You see, I was standing at the window and I saw the whole thing, but because I love you, I forgave you. I was just wondering how long you would let Sally make a slave of you.'

Thought for the day and every day thereafter:

Whatever is in your past, whatever you have done... And the devil keeps throwing it up in your face (lying, cheating, debt, fear, bad habits, hatred, anger, bitterness, etc.)...whatever it is...You need to know that:
God was standing at the window and He saw the whole thing.

He has seen your whole life... He wants you to know that He loves you and that you are forgiven. He's just wondering how long you will let the devil make a slave of you.

The great thing about God is that when you ask for forgiveness; He not only forgives you, but He forgets.

It is by God's grace and mercy that we are saved.

Spend Smart On Eyeglasses

How You Can Start Spending Smart when you are someone who is an impulse buyer and brand conscious? Aside from keeping your credit cards at home and just bringing with you enough cash for the day will prevent you from spending. However, when it comes to eyecare you shouldn't worry about the cost because more often than not cheap glasses causes damage to they eyes than we ever think about.

My favorite high fashion eyeglasses, like the ones being used by Hollywood celebrities can be found at Zenni Optical and they are not expensive as you think because you can get $ 8 Rx eyeglasses there, no joke!

Shopping For Home

Creating a personality for your new home can be fun and tedious at the same time. Fun because you get to buy new things to your new home and home shopping is always fun. Tedious because there are so many beautiful things out in the market today that you will find it hard to resist an item that tickles your fancy.

It is impossible to put everything you see in your home so you have to think of a theme. You can go traditional, contemporary, or modern. The most important thing is stick to a design plan that you can live up to and maintain by putting together housewares that is effective and efficient for your lifestyle.

It is important to do your homework before buying home furnishings and decor . Learn more about the product you want before you get them.

Try checking out ShopWiki it is where you can find most of the home products you needed for your new home. The best thing is they show almost all stores available in the internet and not just the ones who paid for placement with them. Imagine being able to browse more than 30,000 shops on the web. You virtually have everything at the palm of your hands and you can make a wise decision on your purchases.

Thank You Lord

DEAR GOD:
I want to thank You for what You have already done.
I am not going to wait until I see results or receive rewards; I am thanking You right now.
I am not going to wait until I feel better or things look better; until people say they are sorry or until they stop talking about me;until the pain in my body disappears; until my financial situation improves; until the children are asleep and the house is quiet; until I get promoted at work or until I get the job; I am going to thank You right now.
I am not going to wait until I understand every experience in my life that has caused me pain or grief;
I am not going to wait until the journey gets easier or the challenges are removed; I am thanking You right now.
I am thanking You because I am alive. I am thanking You because I made it through the day's difficulties. I am thanking You because I have walked around the obstacles.
I am thanking You because I have the ability and the opportunity to do more and do
better.

I'm thanking You because FATHER, YOU haven't given up on me.

God is just so good, and He is so good all the time..

Latest In Trade Show Displays

I am such a sociable person. I am happy when I am surrounded with people. I am happy when I feel positive vibes around me. Blog events are always happy because the organizers have one desire to make their attendees happy and to make a nice impression about the product, place or person they are promoting.

A great way to make an impact is a well decorated venue, complete event paraphernalia where almost anything you can place your company's logo or the product or person to endorse can be immediately seen.

Recently I noticed some promotion companies strategically used some trade show flooring to display their logo or message on the flooring. Which I think is a bright idea. Some use foot prints, logo mats, spot lights and stickers and the people are attracted to it immediately.
For outdoor events using a logo canopy is the way to go especially in fairs and festivals.

Not Much Happy Thoughts

Excuse this blog for it's straying from it's original theme, a place where I post all my happy thoughts. A place where I share inspiring things and everything that is positive and encouraging.
I am in the dumps lately and I am very much distracted/disoriented and not myself lately.

I've been misplacing so many things and I don't have the will and patience to look for them. Our house is a huge mess because I am not the me I used to be.

Yeah sure I attend happy events and get so many nice stuff out of them, win a lot of contest and stuff. But all of them are too temporary and shallow. I guess I should change my perspective and stop over reacting, over analyzing and stop being a smart ass that I am sometimes and just be simple and uncomplicated.

I need to get away from me, my head and my environment, even for a brief time. I think I'm all burnt out. I feel so empty.

Wine and Conversations Perfect Combination

I was at a healthy Plurk discussion with blogger friends today about what to use in making a decision. Should you use your heart or should you use your head. Most of the guys said use your head. Men are always logical it seems. Women would say use your heart we are always emotional While some said both has to meet.

It was like a typical fun dinner conversations with a nice touch of wine loosening up everyone to be able to say what they want freely. Wine and conversation are perfect. But I always have trouble opening wines though because I don't have a champion wine opener. The corkscrew turns out broken or the cork either or.

If I plan on entertaining a lot of guest and serve wine with class I have to get one of those rogar wine openers they don't come cheap but at least they are a good investment, they won't break easily and are very easy to use.

Great thing I found some rogar for sale now where I can get 15% off on a purchase. The antique bronze set collection looks great!

Say It Now

If you have something to say, say it now before the moment passes you by and you can no longer say it.

Life is fleeting. Tomorrow never comes. Today is all we have. What's said is said, what's done is done. There's no sense going over and over. This I know.

But the moment passed, I was not able to say what I wanted to say. Now, I just filled a suitcase full of regrets.

I wish I was a dumb person so I don't have to over analyze things. I wish I had a delete memory and feelings button. Everything will be easy.

Datach and ignore. A philosophy I have to learn.

I Need To Get Away

I had enough of sad I had no time to mourn. I need time alone. This is where I wanna go and this is what I want to do take one of those Caribbean vacations.

I heard that Breezers has a special all inclusive vacation package and that includes all meals, transfers, transportation and entertainment and everything I want that I could think of. All I need to do is bring myself to take a vacation alone. I heard Bahamas are great if you have company but how can I reflect if I have a company with me.

And maybe since its an all inclusive vacation I virtually need much to enjoy the place. They will do the rest to entertain me if I wanted to and not force me if I don't want to like a companion you'll take with you on this wonderful place.

But I think I'd just sulk in my room if I see honeymooners in there. That would suck much.

Lucky Messages

Nobody knows the future. But it's great to hear someone tell you something good. I'd rather hear good news than bad ones. I had enough of sad. I wanna be happy.

Life is so fleeting. People come and go. Today is all we have tomorrow never comes.

Stop over analyzing things. Things happens because they have to and they do. If it's bound to happen you can't stop it.

I'd Rather Buy A Car

A car is more easier to deal with than a broken heart. Put in new parts and they are like brand new. A broken heart is more like Humpty Dumpty, no matter what you do you can never put all the pieces back together again. It is broken for life.

Anywho, I always love Vokswagen, especially the one Drew Barrymore had in Mad Love the movie. I think Used Volkswagen Cars is the best first car to have since their exterior are tough although the machine is kinda noisy.

Used cars are better for first time car owners I think, especially for someone like me who can get the car crash on the first driving attempt.

I really can't believe someone could trade their so called "dream woman" for a used car that needs a lot of work. Some dream woman they are aren't they or what a jerk that guy was.

Real Property Manager

Had I known that there is too much work to do for that property we bought I wouldn't have bought it. I mean I though we are just gonna pay and move out but it turns out we have to do all the dirty work. I know it's a prime property but it's so expensive. Even if we can sell it at P6M working on it is too time consuming.

Oh well, anyway after getting everything done and hopefully we are able to move out before the year ends. Now this old house need not to be idle. We need to consult someone who knows especially those from aReal Property Management, they would know what to do.

Sigh, I wanna move out.

I Feel Like Humpty Dumpty

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall;
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the King's horses
And all the King's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again!

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall;
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
Threescore men and threescore more,
Can't place Humpty Dumpty as he was before.

Protect Your Home Computer

The first thing anyone who gets their computer set-up and hooked to the internet is to install their internet security. This is what I learned from my hunny who was so persistent in telling me to get an anti-virus software installed first before going online.

Good thing he had a software on hand that I installed immediately if not my PC would be a victim of those anti-malware prolifering some of the internet cafe I've been before.

There are so many free anti virus software available but you should be careful too because most of them are disguised to fool an unwitting victim. ZSecurity Anti-Virus is of the trusted brands you can use to protect your home computers safe and keep online intruders at bay. They offer a free-trial so you can see how effective they are at filtering files that can be harmful for your computer.

Eyeglasses vs Contact Lenses

Which is better? Wearing reading eyeglasses or contact lenses? Personally I think reading eyeglasses are better. They are non-invasive and you can wear different styles everyday if you want to funk-up your style. I'd give High Five to Zenni Optical for the many choices they have available.

This one is super cute. Its one of those rimless frame made of pure titanium and has sparkling crystals on the design temples. This is available for multi-focal lenses but they also have $ 8 Rx eyeglasses.

Most of the eyeglasses shown in this website is also shown at Zenni Optical on TV!!! You can get valuable tips on caring for your eyeglasses in that show too.

Be Gentle With Your Hands

I went to the hospital to they to have my hands checked because the sharp pain I feel on my wrist, middle finger and index finger are unbearable. I've been experiencing occasional pain before but last night was something I cannot bear.

The general doctor I consulted at St. Lukes hospital told me it's a mild case and the full blown syndrome can be prevented with the help of medicines and exercises. I hope so, I need my right hands!

Anyway, in case you are wondering how I managed to write a post. I am using my left hands for this. I am typing real slow but at least I still can. I need to make a living you know. Besides the painkiller is working now.

My New HD TV!

I was informed that I won an HD TV from a blog contest I joined recently, the SM Sky Garden post I did for my other blog. Since I was not able to attend the awards night a blogger friend went up the stage to get it for me. She told me that they will be delivering it to me soon and I am so excited!

Now I am thinking of getting a satellite TV to optimize my viewing pleasure in my new HD TV. It will be a waste if I will just use it for the regular TV programs available in a free TV right? I am also thinking of hooking it on my computer but I was told I need a vidcard for that.

I wonder if I can get Dish American Programming from here if I install a dish TV to it. It would be great to see Grays Anatomy and Burn Notice again. I haven't seen them in ages.5

Anyway, I still don't have the TV with me. But like I said I'm excited already. It will fit well on the new condo too! I think I should wish for a new gas range/oven and a front loading washing machine too and in a couple of months I'll get it too! Weeee!

Short Stay At The ER

My sister is home for a two week vacation. On the second week she planned for a trip to Mt. Makiling or to an awesome vacation place like that of the Myrtle Beach Resorts. But instead of having a nice beachfront accommodation and a nice view of the ocean we were taken to a short stay at the hospital ER. My daughter had her first epileptic attack last Monday. It was a scary sight, I didn't know what to do.

There were no Myrtle Beach Resort like accommodation in the hospital when we were admitted and we were forced to stay at the ER because they were fully booked. It seemed there are so many children getting sick these days.

A day after we were moved out from the ER to a private room which is far more better than the ER. We have our own TV, comfort room and a nice view of the trees outside. It was not one of those nice Myrtle Beach Hotels
but its better than in the ER.

Content Writers And Article Submission

An article directory can work so much to the advantage of a content writer and a website owner in so many ways.

Like what this article I read about states it will pave a way to build your online reputation and became the best source for website who rely on getting their website contents on content providers. Among the advantages it site are 1) Brand equity, 2) high search engine ratings, 3) low link competition, 4) multiple references from a single article and 4) longer duration of life.

Article directory works for someone who wants to build a reputation online the more unique your content is the more you will be acknowledge especially in this age when copyright and plagiarism issues are abound.

Frustrated authors who are having a hard time getting their pieces published can use this kind of service to their advantage too. They can get a byline and build an online portfolio as long as their article remains unique. All they have to do is submit their works to these article submission sites and viola they can sit back and wait for feedback.

Jai Ho Fashion

Since the movie Slumdog Millionaire more and more women are into India fashion, especially after the Pussy Cat Dolls set a nice example on how to wear those lovely sarees, and other accessories/ jewelries that are authentic India at their latest hit Jai Ho.

I so love how you can drape those sarees around your everyday clothes and make a statement. Those lovely Indian sandals that are handmade makes them so exotic. Even the embroidered fabrics make them look fabulous. The costume jewelries are so elaborate they make a nice bling and can be used to create a bohemian look.

If you want to sashay these lovely clothes then go Online Salwar Suits Shopping now there are hundreds of beautiful design all handcrafted and are made in India.

Home Maker

It's really hard not to have any man in the house. There's no one to do the minor carpentry and repairs especially something that involves carrying a lot of stuff. Using hammers, saw and plumbing. I guess that is why women needs men to do the tough job women don't like to do because our fragile little hands can't be ruined.

But since my dad got weaker I became the handyman of this house and so I think my hands are no longer soft and delicate but rough, tough and hard. Yuck really. I wish there are cheap contractors out there I can call right away when there is a minor repair needed at home.

What do you think is better do a repair or remodel? If someone can do a good repair like the great Dallas remodeling why not right? But then again a new one would be better. So I choose none of the above.

Never Wait Until They Are Gone

We just celebrated my father's 1st year death anniversary and ended the 1 year mourning or the tradition of babang luksa in Filipino. This is where we officially can wear other color of clothes than black and white. Although the mourning is over still the pain of loosing him will never ever go away.

We should never ever wait to show our loved ones that we love and give importance to their presence in their life after they are gone because they will no longer be able to experience it.

My father is loved and sorely missed. Let your light shine upon us.

Nobody's Perfect

I know I'm skinny but it's weird I have a big tummy. I hate my midsection so much that I will do anything possible to loose it. Well almost anything. Anything easy to do. Any painless way to do. Well honestly I've tried almost anything to be able to trim down my waistline or rather loose the jelly round protruding belly I have that always get in the way of a nice profile photo. I just hate how I look when I forgot to do a stomach in during photo shoots I look like I am pregnant or something. It's very ugly! I disappoint me. One way to get rid of them is to let go of rice forever. But gosh, I don't think I can do it. I can't help it I love rice. I don't think I will ever get full if there ain't rice on my meal.

Maybe I should try a lipo instead and get rid of this beer belly forever? But I am so scared of needles and the slicing and dicing they are gonna do with the procedure. Although they said there are painless procedures now. But still they are gonna insert some kinda stuff in my midsection and suck all the fats out. If I don't take care of my body, don't exercise and eat carelessly like eat as much rice as I want I will still get that old round belly back. Booo. Oh well I guess I just have to bare with what I have nobody is perfect anyway. Although you can't blame me if I try to be one right?

Ending July With A Blast

I had such a great ending to July despite the bit of hassle on my main blog God is indeed very good. When he gives me difficulty he has something better and bigger in store for me.

Awesome things I got before the month ended:
1) A privilege to dine-in at any restaurant I want!
2) Super awesome invites to the opening of the 2nd IMAX theater in the country and a chance to have a first glance of the latest Harry Potter movie in 3D.
3) A foody Superbowl of China event
4) Fun PowerStation day with the bloggers where we get to spend more than P3,000 worth of tokens!
5) Super lotsa job opportunities coming in lots and lots of blessings!
6) My sister olay is coming home for a vacation yipee! I missed her tons!
7) I just super feel awesome and lucky!

A Limo vs. An MB

I was expecting to be fetch by a limo during the event I attended last Friday for an opening of one of the establishment that will make up the Tourism City in the country. But sadly I was informed later that day that the limo was not available and so instead I will be picked up by a Mercedes Benz MB100 van. Well an MB is an MB but I was excited about the limousine service and arrive at the red carpet glamorously. Good thing I didn't dressed too much and instead of wearing an evening gown I just wore a cocktail dress. I mean it was too hot that day for me to dress to the nines and I live too far from the hotel to wear an elaborate dress unless I want to attract attention or robbers!

There's not much limousine rental services here in the country unlike in the States like the Chicago Limo. But I think if they are going to operate a world class resort they should have their own limousine service for their VIP guesses especially for that The Burj like hotel with butler service that they will put up soon that will cater to the A+ class.

Home Business

Our old house is almost 20 years old and I say it badly needs renovation. I know it will be impractical to do a renovation since we will be moving out soon, but it's also impractical to leave the place to rot.

We were planning to sell the place but it looks like nobody wanted to buy the house since everyone is trying to save a penny as much as they could. So my brother just gave me an idea on what to do with this place when we leave it under his watch. He said he would put up an internet shop a restaurant and some bar at night.

His plans look good and not need much of the remodeling like what I was thinking before a 3 door apartment complex and that we would need the service of Rockford Remodeling for that. With his plans he could just do simple renovations he can do himself.

How To Get Approved With Your Loan Applications

The whole is experiencing a global economic recession. Some companies are folding up while others are laying off employees. I know this sounds bad but most of us are under debt and are afraid that we will never get to pay our loans if we loose our jobs.

Even before you loose your job, lets hope you wont though, but it's better to be prepared than be sorry later. It is best you consult some experts to do some credit repair for you so that when you badly need a loan in the near future you can still get approved without any hassle.

Some credit company won't just approve you if you have one negative record in the past. These folks at DSI Solutions can do a repair credit for you.

You don't need to pay for huge interest by having a fix credit with this guys. They know what they are doing and this can help you lots in the near future. With this one you can get approved with all the loans you need be it a car loan, housing loan, medical loans, college fees and much much more.

Dressing Up

I don't dress-up much because I hate to be super dressed and commute. It's not convenient and practical. But last Friday was different. I was wearing full make-up and dressed to the nines. It was fun!

Excercise Without Straining

I haven't been exercising in a long time all because I feel most of the exercise I do are straining my joints or maybe because I am doing them improperly. Whatever it is I wish there is a way that I won't feel the stress on my knees and joints. I've been researching about elliptical machines and I found some of the best rated elliptical machine available. Maybe I should try to get one of the simplest machine and then decide if I should get that cross trainer one.

Protecting Our Homes

The economic recession has affected everyone around the world. With the economy on a slump most companies folded up because they can't hardly cope while some lay-off employees to cut on operational cost.

There are more and more people who are desperate just to fill an empty stomach. They retort to crime and violence against other people. One can never be sure about their safety these days unless they take a step up in protecting their homes and I am talking about home security system.

In America more than 5 milions of people use the ADT monitored security systems to protect their homes. Even 90% of the Fortune 500 Companies, U.S. government buildings, and airports rely on ADT Security System.

This is because they already have 130 years experience in security system. They are very reliable with their fast response, 24 hour monitoring, low monthly fees and easy to use home system.

Call 866-395-9730 to get a free assessment or check out their website to know more. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Night Life Inspired Art

I was looking for some drawings or graphic designs that I would like to use for my new blog when I stumbled on this website and this artist who makes cool art works, Tim Rogerson. He said his inspiration comes from from outside while experiencing life and by going places and meeting people.

From the art he has created it looks like he likes to go to night clubs and bars and even Japanese restaurants. It also looks like he likes to gamble, play golf, enjoy the beach and surf and also watch ballet shows. Looks like he lives in Las Vegas to me or he frequents Las Vegas. There were a couple of guys wearing Elvis costume. It also appears like he likes to dine in a lot and meet the chef or cook of a certain restaurant he visits in person.

I'd like to use the Sushi Server, the Les Trios Chef and the Miso Hungry art he did for my food blog and use the Piano Jam or Legends for my events blog. Looks like he also enjoys listening to Jazz music and Jazz band. I'd say this guy has taste and lives life to the fullest. The colors he used for his painting are lively too. They could spice up a room if you hang one on your wall.

Before Getting A Housing Loan Approved

Before your housing loan from Pag-IBIG gets approve their representative will call you up to ask you some basic questions to see if the developer is complying with their standards for home or property procurement.

Some basic questions they will ask is if you have visited the property you are going to procure and if the basic necessities are already in place such as electricity and water. They will also ask if there is proper ventilation and if there are no damage to the place.

After the interview they will assign a home inspector to check the property to make sure that it is livable. Like the people from the Baltimore Home Inspection only licensed inspector are allowed to do this because this is a serious business. If one of the basic elements to make a home livable is not seen in the property they will delay approval of the loan until the developer complies. This is for your own protection as a buyer to ensure that you get the best from your investment. As soon as the developer complies with the requirement the home inspector will then do an ocular visit to see if it the modifications was really done and they will immediately inform Pag-IBIG that the property is good to be sold.

Happy Father's Day

The best gift a father can give to his child is the love he has for their mother. I think my dad loved my mom so much until his last breathe even if they argue a lot because I believe people argue because they still care. If people don't argue anymore they don't care.

Miss you Papa, wherever you are. I love you.

I Don't Want To Get Married Just To Be Divorced

I was reading an article earlier about how the people from Iceland was considered the happiest people on Earth. The introduction made me think twice on how on Earth did they became the happiest people on earth when they have the highest birth rate in Europe + highest percentage of women working outside the home + highest divorce rate. But still with that the country was considered to be the best place to live in the world.

I read through it and I was enlightened a bit. It tells how people in that country are happy go lucky people who don't give a heck about things. They don't care what other people say as long as they do what they want. Moral standards are out of the question as to them what is moral and not depends on your religion, environment and belief. Icelandic prime minister, Geir Haarde believe that this is because he have incorporated the best of U.S. and Europe in this country.

This is an excerpt from that article: "But none of this happiness would be possible without the hardy self-confidence that defines individual Icelanders, which in turn derives from a society that is culturally geared - as its overwhelming priority - to bring up happy, healthy children, by however many fathers and mothers. A lot of it comes from their Viking ancestors, whose males were rampant looters and rapists, but had the moral consistency at least not to be jealous of the dalliances of their wives - tough women who kept their families fed in the semi-tundra harshness of this north Atlantic island while their husbands forayed, for years at a time, far and wide. As a grandmother I met on my first visit to Iceland, two years ago, explained it: 'The Vikings went abroad and the women ran the show, and they had children with their slaves, and when the Vikings returned they accepted it, in the spirit of the more the merrier."

If all couples would get married just to get Dallas divorce lawyer when they have misunderstanding then I think I don't want to get married anymore ever. I would rather stay single than go have a Dallas family lawyer on my back all the time updating me about the case and what I can and can not get from the procedure.

I hope I won't need a DALLAS FAMILY LAWYER in my life though. I only want to be married to one man if not none at all. I am not from Iceland and I don't think I will like their ways because I was brought-up differently by my parents. My country does not have divorce because we believe in the sanctity of marriage.

A Free Domain Forever Web Hosting

If you are off to make a self-hosted blog one of the things you should consider is that that web hosting provider should be able to provide you with unlimited disks space, unlimited bandwidth and that can host unlimited domain. It would be great to find a hosting site that would accept Paypal as a mode of payment because you can never be to sure about giving your credit card details online these days. Another issue to look at is that a web hosting provider should have a domain registration and web hosting at the same time. And lastly, they will do all the set-up especially with the most important ones like propagating your site and set-up and all other pertinent things to get your running.

Well, good news, I found this kind of provider all I did was pay and wait for the email to tell me that my site is ready to customize.

I also found this web hosting site that is so affordable and includes a free domain forever web hosting which is something everyone with a website would like to have. I think this one would be good to have since it also has unlimited everything and payable through Paypal.

A Bike For My Daughter

I should be getting my daughter her own kiddie bike by now. Her doctor recommended it. My hunny has been pestering me about it. But still I can't bring myself to buy that bike. One, because I don't want to commute with a bike on a public transport and two, because I don't want to carry such heavy stuff all the way to the mall and home. If only I have my hunny with me to carry it for me then fine I could buy as many bikes as I could but if it's just me I don't want too.

Speaking of bikes I was watching Wish Ko Lang last Saturday and was touched by this guy who was so dependent on his bike as means of transportation to and from school. Wish ko lang is a TV show that grants people their wish or at least gives them the motivation to achieve their dreams.

They made it appear that this guys bicycle was stolen and it was so obvious how the guy was so crushed upon learning he can never see his precious bike anymore. And when they finally showed him his bike which is a lot different from the old one, they renovated it, change chairs, handlebars and tires, made it brand new, he was so happy. He hugged and kissed the bike like a family member he haven't seen in a while. He called his bike his bestfriend.

Aside from fixing his bike, they gave this guy 4 year college scholarship and gave him a mountain bike he can use to commute much faster to and from school. Pretty neat.

My Favorite Hollywood Actors

Two of my three favorite Hollywood actors made it to the Top 50 of the World's Most Powerful Celebrity of Forbes. My favorite actors are Robin Williams, Will Smith and Adam Sandler, I think they should be in the movie awards Will Smith was Top 11 while Adam Sandler was Top 16.

Robin Williams was not there probably because he did not have any movie lately because he just had his bi-pass operation. I was glad to see him coping very well with his operation and was happy to see a YouTube video he sent through his Facebook fans that he is alright.

Will Smith undoubtedly was placed in Top 11 because of his two awesome movie last year Hancock and Seven Pounds. He is also continuously on the news and in fact was rumored to be the next James Bond, the black James Bond. I love this guy because he makes the great movies with great effects and story lines and the fact that he can act and he can sing and has nice body.

Adam Sandler was placed on the Top 16 because of his funny movie You Don't Mess With the Zohan. I love this guy because of his feel good movies.

I support these guys and I think Hollywood should have more actors like them they make great movies. You can catch them all on cable.

The Suspense Is Killing Me

One of the first things my sister and I would be doing when she arrive is process the move-in papers pay the necessary fee needed and get someone to help do the interiors in the new condo. I am so excited at moving in. I wish we can move right now. It's all so convenient for us. We don't have to travel four hours round trip just to the places me and my daughter need to visit thrice a week. The new condo is just five minutes away from my daughter's school, her speech therapy clinic is just 10 minutes away, her occupational therapy clinic and doctor is five minutes away. Commuting is not a hassle anymore as the MRT is just six floors away.

I remember my sister commented about the exterior painting in the condo. She didn't like it and asked if we could arrange to have the exterior painted as well aside from the interior of the condo but I doubt it of course. I was thinking maybe we can do the painting by ourselves when she gets home but well she is on vacation she might not want to do that. Anyway we could hire the people from the Albuquerque Painting to do the job. I heard they can do murals too. I was thinking of some cloud painting on the ceiling of my bedroom, something my daughter would love to look at instead of look down from the patio, scary!

Waiting For The Move In Papers

June 3 will be the date my sister will come home for a vacation and hopefully by that date the move-in papers are ready and we can transfer before she leaves again. We are just waiting for the move-in papers to get here so we can formalize the move and everything will be legal and according to the policy.

I wish it will be soon because the school season is on and I don't want to commute four hours round trip to and from my daughter's school. And since her speech therapy will commence soon I don't want to miss it out and have both of us exhausted every time she has a session.

I also need to organize all our stuff that we will take to our new home. Get some boxes and label the stuff so when it's time to move it will be easier and when it's time to unpack it will be a lot easier for me.

We might be contacting some movers if the van from my brother's office won't be available. I hope there will be professional movers like the Houston Movers that we can contact. Someone who is reliable and trustworthy. It's so hard to find someone trusting these days.

Online Trading

I've been thinking about investing some of my money on the stock market but since I am inexperienced I am having second thoughts. I love reading this blog of an Experienced Trader Online I can see the trends of the market and get some tips. Reading his blog some more in the coming months would give me enough idea about the trend and maybe will get the courage to invest someday.

Merry Month of June

June has a lot of occasions lined-up for me. My mom's birthday on the 13th, my brother's birthday last June 11, start of the school season and my parents wedding anniversary. If dad is still with us right now they would be celebrating their 37th wedding anniversary.

I admire my dad for being the loyal husband that he was. In spite of my mom nagging her most of the time and their ugly fights the past years he never left and never thought of getting another woman.

I wish all men are like that. They stay loyal and true and stick to one woman only. Is there such a man like that who exist these days? I don't think so. But I hope they do.

Weddings and birthdays gives me happy and sad thoughts. I better stop now.

Light Up My Life

The adage that first impression always last can always be true especially wit our homes. Usually the first thing a guest will likely notice is the way you have landscaped the areas around your home. And if the guests arrives at night they will also notice the lighting.

You can enhance a certain area with fine arts lamps that can illuminate the care and creativy you have put into your home's surroundings. But the reverse can also happen if you made the wrong placement.

Good pieces can also spruce a nice conversation with your guests by strategically placing wonderful lighting products like chandeliers, lamps, wall mount scones, pendant lights, accent lights and more. There are hundreds of choices and ideas you can use at the house of lighting. They have picture lights, task and spot lights that can accentuate the photographs or painting you hang on your walls or wall lamps that can liven-up a dull hallway.

I Love Cookies

When I think about cookies I think of my childhood. I feel like cookie monster that I just can't get enough of them, specially the chocolate chip cookies. Delicious.

Cookies I think is one of the best food ever invented. It's the best comfort food ever that brings out the child in everyone. It's like coming home from school, sitting down on the couch and them mom comes and server cookies and milk.

Cookies is so versatile as well, you can have it as stand alone snack or have one after a filling meal as a desert. You can eat them anytime and anywhere and the expiration date is longer than the rest of the baked goodies. Cookies is also becoming one of the hottest items for corporate giveaways.

If you are looking for mouth-watering chocolate chips and other freshly baked goodies by at David's Cookies and explore their delicious selection. If you found something irresistible then go ahead and shop online. They offer a flat rate of $4.95 shipping. But if you order in bulk or choose their products on promo you can get the shipped for free. David's cookies online store also features frozen cookie dough, gift baskets and more.

Aside from cookies David Cookies also has tarts, cheesecakes, and other yummy deserts to die for.

Long Weekend Rest

I've been attending a lot of events one after another since Monday and I am feeling the toll of it. Aside from having tons of blog backlogs, I feel super super tired. I will be begging out of other events lined-up today like the Pussy Cat Dolls World Domination tour concert tonight and the Sandbox launch event, the Ako Mismo Dog Tag Day at the Fort on Friday and so much more. I want to stay at home this weekend and rest and do my blog backlogs. I am soooo tired. Wanna sleep.

I'll Leave Driving To The Driver

I tried to learn how to drive maybe three or four times but I just can't get myself do it. I have the tendency to forget my left from my right and so when my driving instructor was telling me to turn left I mistook it as right and so what happened was we almost hit a post! Thanks to that reliable power steering and power steering rack installed on my friends car we were able to avoid that accident.

Yup I am that bad when it comes to driving and directions and with the kind of drivers we have here in Manila, I will leave the driving to drivers and I will just sit comfortably in the passenger's seat.

I Fixed Our Flooring

Whenever there's a need for repairs around the house like the basic changing of bulbs or fixing the faucet or cover holes on our roof, I wish there was a man in the house. I think that is what men are made for, to be the handyman around the house and do the hard jobs inside the home. Too bad we don't have a man in the house and I don't have a man in the house so I just have to be one myself.

Could you imagine the tiny old me be able to move our refrigerator aside just to be able to be able to cover the entire floor flawlessly? Can you imagine me lift huge sofa and TV rack? Well I can do it honestly. I guess I have the energy for it.

But honestly if Houston Flooring was just nearby I would have immediately call them without hesitation to save me from all the lifting, dragging, sweating and all the nitty-gritty a handyman should be doing around the house. All I have to do is be cute and wipe the sweat off my man and prepare his meal after the hard work. Maybe give him a massage or two, prepare his shower and sing him a lullaby after.

Desperate For A Renovation

This house is in dire need of a complete renovation. The doors are jammed some locks are screwed. Why? Well my daughter got this habit of kicking the doors when she is stimming and although she can be stopped sometimes we are just too busy to get to stop her immediately.
It's been raining for a week now and I just discovered so many new leaks at the recently fixed roof we had. And probably because of the earthquake just a couple of months ago I discovered a lot of cracks in the house that needs to get fixed.
Also, I need to install a new flooring because I just peeled out the old vinyl I had installed just last year. This place is falling out of place. Either it wants us to leave soon or it is in dire need of renovation before we leave. I know we will be moving out soon but that doesn't mean we have to just leave everything to rot in here right?
I need the services of the Fort Worth Remodeling to do some magic in our home. The handyman/carpenters my mom hires here are not doing their job well. This house needs a major overhaul from someone dependable and competent and can do the job right. Somebody, help!

Rain = Power Outage

I don't know it's only here in the Philippines but whenever it rains expect that power outage will come next. It's annoying really since most would rather stay at home than get wet outside. I don't know why it happens but probably because of wrong electrical installations by Meralco or because of the electric thieves tampering on the wiring's that make this happen.

This would not happen if those who install the electric facility here are as professional as the people from the Chicago Electrician. They are professionals who got their license and enrolled on the related course and got certificates before they can practice.

Well so far so good it's been raining for days here now almost a week. But the power and net is still on. Oooopps I should not talk about or I might jinx it.
