Lovely Romantic Art

If I was not thinking how expensive the tools and materials would be to finish Fine Arts then I would have pursued it and maybe one of the sought of impressionist artist. But I am not as good as Michael & Inessa Garmash who are both known as the most popular romantic impressionist artist, in fact I am not good at all to make these kind of art. Maybe that is why I was not allowed to enroll to that course. But I would definitely love to see one or two of Garmash paintings hanging on my wall.
This one is a painting they called Allure, I love the details on this painting. You can actually see how good a painter they are. Imagine Mr. Garnash started painting at the age of three!

Lease A Car?

I know the times lately are rough with financial crunch all over the world it is very wise to find ways to minimize your expenses. Oil prices are unstable and buying a car these days would be unpractical.

But what if you can have a car without buying one? This car leasing option seems interesting. I don't have to do any paper work for bank financing or other forms of loan to get one. It's just like renting a space for a long period of time and if I no longer want it I can easily return it. Or if I don't like the model I can change to a new one fast, just right after the lease contract expires. This is real cool. I think everyone should try.

Jewish Chat

I've heard that Jewish people are rich. If I remember it right one of my favorite actors in Hollywood, Adam Sandler is a Jewish and he promotes lots of their culture on the movies they make. It looks interesting and lots of restrictions, I don't know much but maybe by joining this Jewish Chat I will know more about it. From Adam Sandlers point of view it looks like fun.

Switch Off Your Lights Tonight!

World Autism Awareness Day

One in every 150 child is diagnosed with autism and every 20 minutes there is a child diagnosed with autism. But how about those who can't afford to have a diagnosis. At the moment Autism is on the top 3 of the 10 developmental disorders.

April 2 is World Autism Awareness Day as proclaimed by UN in December 2007. April is also the Autism Awareness Month. Please help spread the world. Autism affects all persons regardless of race, religion, socio-economic status or geography.

Talking Business

I am seriously contemplating on putting up my own business to secure my daughters future and I have found one very interesting and very new business venture that I think will be a hit. It's the eyelash extension salon that I discovered couple days ago. There's not much competition yet and I hope I get the capital soon so I can have this business running in a couple of months.

Securing a loan is the way to go these days according to financial gurus I have talked with and even on the news. There are business loans being offered to small and medium enterprises and if they see your business proposal has a good potential you will get approved right away.

I heard business financing favors franchising and the business I wanted to put up is perfect. Wish me luck!

What Every Woman Should Know

.....one old love she can imagine going back to...and one who reminds her how far she has come.

....enough money within her control to move out and rent a place of her own even if she never wants to or needs to...

.... something perfect to wear if the employer or date of her dreams wants to see her in an hour...

.... a youth she's content to leave behind...

.....a past juicy enough that she's looking forward to retelling it in her old age....

.....a set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill, and a black lace bra...

....one friend who always makes her laugh ... and one who let her cry...

.....a good piece of furniture not previously owned by anyone else in her family...

.....eight matching plates, wine glasses with stems, and a recipe for a meal that will make her guests feel honored.

.....a feeling of control over her destiny...

....how to fall in love without losing herself...

...how to quit a job, break up with a lover, and confront a friend without ruining the friendship...

....when to try harder ... and when to walk away...

...that she can't change the length of her calves, the width of her hips, or the nature of her

.....that her childhood may not have been perfect...but it’s over...

....what she would and wouldn't do for love or more...

....how to live alone... even if she doesn't like it...

....whom she can trust, whom she can't, and why she shouldn't take it personally...

....where to go... be it to her best friend's kitchen table...or a charming inn in the woods...
when her soul needs soothing...

.... what she can and can't accomplish in a day...a month...and a year...

Perks Of A Varsity

The NCAA season will be on soon and the National Football Foundation (NFF) has announced the voting for the NCAA Hall of Fame. The winners will be chosen among the 76 players and six coaches chosen by the members of the NFF and will be announced on April 30, 2009 on ESPN.

Honestly I don't know a thing about football, I have never seen a professional football game in my life ever. I had a glimpse of NCAA before and I it's popularity in the U.S. is overwhelming that almost everyone aspire to play college football in the big league. It's not a bad idea to pursue, in fact it's a great one imagine getting a scholarship from the university you are in while playing football. Don't forget the fame and fortune.

Talk About Christianity

Have you heard of the term seasonal Christians/Catholics? Those who go to church when there is an occasion only? Well I am not proud to admit I am one but I also believe it's not your religion that will save you but your faith. I can discuss this thing with people from the Christian Chat they could enlighten me about this belief of not. How about you what do you believe?

My Brother

Here is a story sent to me via e-mail, it's a read but worth it. Here it goes:

I was born in a secluded village on a mountain. Day by day, my parents plowed the yellow dry soil with their backs towards the sky. I have a brother who is 3 years younger than me.

I wanted to buy a handkerchief, which all girls around me seemed to have. So, one day I stole 50 cents from my father's drawer. Father had discovered about the stolen money right away.

He made me and my younger brother kneel against the wall as he held a bamboo stick in his hand.

"Who stole the money?" he asked.

I was stunned, too afraid to talk. Neither of us admitted to the fault, so he said, "Fine, if nobody wants to admit, you two should be beaten!"

He lifted up the bamboo stick.

Suddenly, my younger brother gripped father's hand and said," Dad, I was the one who did it!"

The long stick smacked my brother's back repeatedly.

Father was so angry that he kept on whipping my brother until he lost his breath.

After that, he sat down on our stone bed and scolded my brother, "You have learned to steal from your own house now. What other embarrassing things will you be possibly doing in the future? You should be beaten to death, you shameless thief!"

That night, my mother and I hugged my brother. His body was full of wounds from the beating but he never shed a single tear.

In the middle of the night, all of sudden, I cried out loudly.

My brother covered my mouth with his little hand and said, " Sis, now don't cry anymore. Everything has happened."

I still hate myself for not having enough courage to admit what I did.

Years gone by, but the incident still seemed like it just happened yesterday.

I will never forget my brother's expression when he protected me.

That year, my brother was 8 years old and I was 11 years old.

When my brother was in his last year of secondary school, he was accepted in an upper secondary school in the central. At the same time, I was accepted into a university in the province.

That night, father squatted in the yard, smoking, packet by packet.

I could hear him ask my mother, "Both of our children, they have good results. Very good results."

Mother wiped off her tears and sighed," What is the use? How can we possibly finance both of them?"

At that time, my brother walked out, he stood in front of father and said,"Dad, I don't want to continue my study anymore, I have read enough books."

Father swung his hand and slapped my brother on his face.

"Why do you have a spirit so damn weak? Even if it means I have to beg for money on the streets, I will send you two to school until you have both finished your study!"

And then, he started to knock on every house in the village to borrow money.

I stuck out my hand as gently as I can to my brother's swollen face, and told him, "A boy has to continue his study; If not, he will not be able to overcome this poverty we are experiencing."

I, on the other hand, had decided not to further my study at the university.

Nobody knew that on the next day, before dawn, my brother left the house with a few pieces of worn-out clothes and a few dry beans. He sneaked to my side of the bed and left a note on my pillow; "Sis, getting into a university is not easy. I will go find a job and I will send money to you."

I held the note while sitting on my bed, and cried until I lost my voice.

That year, my brother was 17 years old; I was 20 years old.

With the money father borrowed from the whole village, and the money my brother earned from carrying cement on his back at a construction site, finally, I managed to get to the third year of my study in the university.

One day, while I was studying in my room, my roommate came in and told me, "There's a villager waiting for you outside!"

Why would there be a villager looking for me? I walked out, and I saw my brother from afar. His whole body was covered with dirt, dust, cement and sand. I asked him, "Why did you not tell my roommate that you are my brother?"

He replied with a smile," Look at my appearance. What will they think if they would know that I am your brother? Won't they laugh at you?"

I felt so touched, and tears filled my eyes. I swept away dirt and dust from my brother's body. And told him with a lump in my throat, " I don't care what people would say! You are my brother no matter what your appearance is?"

From his pocket, he took out a butterfly hair clip. He put it on my hair and said, "I saw all the girls in town are wearing it. So, I think you should also have one."

I could not hold back myself anymore. I pulled my brother into my arms and cried.

That year, my brother was 20 years old; I was 23 years old.

I noticed that the broken window was repaired the first time I brought my boyfriend home. The house was scrubbed cleaned.

After my boyfriend left, I danced like a little girl in front of my mother, "Mom, you didn't have to spend so much time cleaning the house!"

But she told me with a smile," It was your brother who went home early to clean the house. Didn't you see the wound on his hand? He hurt his hand while he was replacing the window."

I went into my brother's bedroom. Looking at his thin face, I felt like there are hundreds of needle pricked in my heart.

I applied some ointment on his wound and put a bandage on it, "Does it hurt? " I asked him.

"No, it doesn't hurt. You know, when at the construction site, stones keep falling on my feet . Even that could not stop me from working."

In the middle of the sentence, he stopped. I turned my back on him and tears rolled down my face.

That year, my brother was 23 years old; I was 26 years old.

After I got married, I lived in the city. Many times my husband invited my parents to come and live with us, but they didn't want.

They said, once they left the village, they wouldn't know what to do.

My brother agreed with them. He said, "Sis, you just take care of your parents-in-law. I will take care of mom and dad here."

My husband became the director of his factory. We asked my brother to accept the offer of being the manager in the maintenance department. But my brother rejected the offer. He insisted on working as a repairman instead for a start.

One day, my brother was on the top of a ladder repairing a cable, when he got electrocuted, and was sent to the hospital.

My husband and I visited him at the hospital. Looking at the white gypsum on his leg, I grumbled, "Why did you reject the offer of being a manager? Managers won't do something dangerous like that. Now look at you, You are suffering a serious injury. Why didn't you just listen to us?"

With a serious expression on his face, he defended his decision, "Think of brother-in-law. He just became the director, and I being uneducated, and would become a manager, what kind of rumors would fly around?"

My husband's eyes filled up with tears, and then I said, "But you lack in education only because of me!"

"Why do you talk about the past?" he said and then he held my hand.

That year, he was 26 years old and I was 29 years old.

My brother was 30 years old when he married a farmer girl from the village.

During the wedding reception, the master of ceremonies asked him, "Who is the one person you respect and love the most?"

Without even taking a time to think, he answered," My sister." He continued by telling a story I could not even remember.

"When I was in primary school, the school was in a different village. Everyday, my sister and I would walk for 2 hours to school and back home. One day, I lost the other pair of my gloves. My sister gave me one of hers.

She wore only one glove and she had to walk far. When we got home, her hands were trembling because of the cold weather that she could not even hold her chopsticks. From that day on, I swore that as long as I live, I would take care of my sister and will always be good to her."

Applause filled up the room. All guests turned their attention to me.

I found it hard to speak, "In my whole life, the one I would like to thank most is my brother,"

And in this happy occasion, in front of the crowd, tears were rolling down my face again.

Chat With Asians

Chat rooms are a good place to meet new people. I don't deny I've met a couple of people I've met when I was hooked to chatting in one of those Asian Chat Rooms like this. It was good while it lasted. I've heard some of them are happily married now to think they just met through chat. Some were broken because some were not serious but hey it's a chat anything is possible and anything can say anything true or not. It's your discretion as an adult to believe or not. Anyway there are no membership fee so everyone is free to join and mingle.

This Blogs Author Is A Doer

According to this archetype test thingy this blogs author is The Doer (ESTP)

This blogs author is an active and playful type and is especially attuned to people and things around them and often full of energy, talking, joking and engaging in physical out-door activities. (I agree)

The Doers are happiest with action-filled work which craves their full attention and focus. (Exactly) They might be very impulsive and more keen on starting something new than following it through. (I have a tendency to be like that especially when I see something is not worth pursuing.) They might have a problem with sitting still or remaining inactive for any period of time. (Hahahahaha!)

You can find out yours here.

I'm A Cat Person

In my lifetime I only owned 2 dogs that only lasted two weeks tops. One died because he was poisoned. The other died because I over reacted with its puppy fleas and gave it a major bath with a very strong flea prevention soap.

One thing about owning a dog that I hate are dog flea they can be really annoying and a real pests. Unlike cat fleas dog fleas can hide and live on walls and multiply and their bite can damage the skin real bad. That's one reason I choose a cat as a pet, they are easily manageable and not high maintenance.

Ooopsy it's been awhile since I post my S.H.O.E.S. (Seven Heaven On Earth, seven things, events, places or whatever that I appreciate.)

1) I was so happy to see my daughter explored the Kids At Work and did not cry during their "field trip" at her school. I guess she was comfortable with kids like her in the place and with adults who understands her and her likes :) I am so proud of her! She was singing while trying to find her way out of the tunnels 20 feel high and I can't even see her!

2) My hunny is back home, he was discharged from the hospital and getting better now, just gaining back his lost weight!

3) Awesome and unexpected blessing last week and it was used for a great purpose. Thanks!

4) I won $50 from Evilwoobie's birthday bash!

5) Lotsa fun events this weekend, a bridal fair, a chocoluva seminar, parents empowerment seminar and my second parent teacher conference!

6) The Pag-ibig housing loan is finally on a positive move!

7) Summer is here! YAY! Despite the heat it means hit the beach!

Visit Pope John Paul II Birthplace

Lent is just a stone throw away and what best way we celebrate it but to do Visita Iglesia or hit the beach as this can be the hottest days here in the Philippines.

But I think I would like to spend my holy week in a different manner and the Auschwitz tours looks like a perfect option for me.

It's a tour around Poland, which is a dominant Catholic country where 94% of its 38.6 million population are Roman Catholic while 2 percent are Orthodox. It's also the birthplace of Pope John Paul II, whom I think is the best pope of all time for having introduced the World Youth Day.

The Pope's birthplace is near Krakow and I would like to take a tour there. This package tour by Escape2poland.com.uk are the best because all fees are included like the tour guide that will tell us about the wonderful establishments in Poland like this big twin-towered St Mary's Church (Kosciol Mariacki) founded in 14th century and not just the transport.

10. Do you know how hard it is to get two tickets to Miss Saigon?
11. I'm waiting until I get to be your age.
12. It didn't seem worth a blood test.
13. I already have enough laundry to do, thank you.
14. Because I think it would take all the spontaneity out of dating.

Graduation And Awards

My niece will be graduating from high school next week although she won't get any outstanding awards for being an outstanding students or from any academic or extra-curricula activities what matters is she will graduate.

She is also proud to announce that she passed a college entrance exam at Far Eastern University (FEU) and will be taking Information Technology. The course must be inspired by her aunt, my sister, who is now working at Microsoft. She got there for getting lots of corporate awards from the great works she did here.

Speaking of awards I wonder where George (Babe) Ruth (the greatest baseball player in the world) and Jennie Finch (the most famous softball player of all time) kept their baseball trophies and softball trophies. I bet they amassed so much because of their great achievements.

Of Spoons And Forks

For someone who loves to entertain like I am, one of the most important elements I don't take for granted is a properly dressed table, be it a formal or a casual occasion.

Although some people may not be particular by the utensils they use at someones dining table or even the plates used because good food and great conversations can always compensate for a not so nicely set table and wares, but it would be embarrassing to see someone bend a fork or a spoon while battling with a fried chicken or a pork chop!

Silverware need not be expensive in fact they are now sold in sets and can be found in the department stores housewares sections. I prefer stainless steel silverware because its almost indestructible and very beautiful at the same time.

Or if you plan to use for formal setting silver cutlery is the way to go. But if you don't have the budget for that then you can try silver plated ones.

Customized Shirts

One of my favorite piece of clothing is a t-shirt. You can wear them anywhere and anyway you can. The hot items right now are customized shirt where you can have everything and anything you want as the design on it through screen printing. I'm a fan of these shirts and I heard making it a business is very lucrative too as the likes of Joey de Leon and the late Francis Magalona made it their busines.

Direct TV Anyone?

Believe it or not, I already forgot how it feels like to watch crisp and noise free TV in our home. It's been years since the cable company who used to service our aread decided to cut all lines here because cable there are more thieves than subscribers who pay. Sounds awful huh? I know that is the cost of living in a low housing area and I just can't wait to move our asses here at a very posh place soon. Yipee!

But while we are still here, not for long though, I am looking at cable TV subscription deals  I could get in the meantime. I heard the service is good no cables just a satellite dish installed and mounted on an outside wall and viola! My family can enjoy the normal TV watching experience we used to have.

With this I am looking at my daugther could enjoy her favorite show on Nickelodean and The Cartoon Network. While my mom can enjoy the movies on the all tagalog movie channel.

They offer 3 months free of HBO, Showtime and Stars, a free HD, DVR or HD DVR receiver where I can enjoy over 265 channels and 60 plus premium channels. Oh my! Will I ever have the time to blog in case this gadget is installed? But wait there's more I heard I can watch TV on my computer with this gadget too. Great. OK! Got to go I'm making a call!

Be All That You Can Be

What is important for a man to be truly happy? Do what he wants or do what the other people tells him to do and conform to the norms set by society? For BB Gandanghari doing what you want and being true to yourself, to men and to God is what makes a person happy.

BB Gandanghari, formerly known as Rustom Padilla had been hiding in the closet for 41 years and recalls how dark that place it that she does not want to go back in there.

"There is no use in hiding before men because God sees you anyway." "{Being out} is more. It is being able to stand naked before God. Being able to be yourself before God," she said.

BB explained that her situation is not a choice. "God made me this way. I have been struggling all my life until 2002 to live up to the expectations of being male. It was difficult. I felt something within that I was constantly denying until the day I decided to be myself."

"You know, when the time came that I realized, or Rustom realized, the he was gay, he outed himself not to man but to God. When he did that, it doesn't really matter anymore what other people say or what the industry says, what the society says." she expounded.

You can read a more in-depth interview on BB here.

My Little House Wrecker

Our house has never been a tidy place since my mischievous daughter came into our lives. I believe every home with a kid understands what I mean.

If not messing stuff around or exploring every part of the house practically making it a war zone, she would leave trails of food she ate in places I could not even imagine. Because of this our house became infested with ants.

My mom got some tricks on her sleeves on how to get rid of ants like some flames or gasoline it works for a time but then again they'll be back in no time. But actually what I need is for my daughter to learn discipline when it comes to her eating habits.

The Triad Of The Kitchen

I believe that the kitchen is the heart of the home, especially for Filipino homes, where we like to entertain and are known for our hospitality. Conversations shared with family members or friends more often than not happens in the kitchen..

For someone who likes to entertain designing the kitchen is one of the most technical and crucial things a home owner should think about, because aside from the aforementioned facets of this space, it is also where the bulk of the house's storage requirements are met.

The appliances in the kitchen are primarily concentrated on three basic functions. It is important that each kitchen be equipped with at least three major fixtures; the refrigerator, range and sink. They are considered the triad of the kitchen. Having these three elements in the kitchen already guarantees that you have a very functional kitchen.

I believe stainless kitchen sinks is the way to go for sinks although there are several options you can go depending on the number of tubs and drain boards you like.

For our new condo, I'll be very critical about the kitchen counter installation because I believe that a neat, organized and well-planned kitchen ensures that the preparation, cooking and storage of food will be utilized to the fullest.

Try Fish Around The World Platter @ Fish & Co.

I was one of the lucky bloggers who sampled this newly launched dish at Fish & Co. and I say everyone should try it out.

Now, you don’t need to travel around the world to get the best taste of it. This summer, get hooked with your continental seafood cravings as Fish & Co. launches its Fish Around the World Platter and the new Fish & Chips MALAYSIAN, PHILADEPHIA, INDIAN and JAPANESE world flavors!

Here in Fish &n Co., the food is good and fresh, as expected, and it's so fresh, it’s served straight up in a pan! Fish & Co. took this cue from the simple practices of Mediterranean fishermen who caught seafood fresh and cooked them immediately in the pan, and made it their own. Favorites are Mussels, Calamari, and Fish and Chips, Seafood Platters and a specialty menu of their own home creation drinks and desserts.

This is not your usual fish and chips that tastes vaguely of breadcrumbs soaked in oil that could have fish in it somewhere. Using only the freshest fish and seafood, as well as natural ingredients like olive oil, herbs and various spices; Fish & Co. pans out great tasting meals in generous portions, all the better to feed you with. At Fish & Co., all seafood is prepared in a simple straightforward manner, letting the ingredients speak for themselves, while served up in their own fishy flair.

All Natural Acne Fighting Product

I could imagine how inferior people with severe acne feels about themselves. Thank God for my genes I only get one or two maximum of three pimple breakouts that clears out in a day or two.

But not all are gifted with good genes and it can be really frustrating to wake everyday and see your face covered with annoying and irritating acne's. I can't bear with one how much more more than twelve.

Anyway, I found this great Acne Products that is all naturally made. Unlike other acne products, the popular ones, that only has one active ingredient for a particular form of acne. The LexLi Acne system fights all forms of acne and targets four factors that causes acne.

First it cleanses the face by using the acne cleanser, then it protects and moisturizes the skin using the acne moisturizer with sunblock, then it clarifies your skin with the clarifying lotion and then exfoliates dead skin with the acne renewing exfoliant to reveal a more soft and smooth skin.

Aloe vera is the key ingredient in all of its acne products because aloe vera is one of the few natural substances that has been scientifically documented for its effectiveness.

Let It Go

I should learn to do the following:

There are people who can walk away from you.
And hear me when I tell you this!
When people can walk away from you: let them walk.

I don't want you to try to talk to another person into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached to you. I mean hang up the phone.

When people can walk away from you let them walk.
Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left.

People leave you because they are not joined to you. And if they are not joined to you, you can't make them stay. Let them go.

And it doesn't mean that they are a bad person, it just means that their part in the story is over. And you've got to know when people's part in your story is over so that you don't keep trying to raise the dead
You've got to know when it's dead.
You've got to know when it's over.

Let me tell you something.
I've got the gift of good-bye.
It's the tenth spiritual gift,
I believe in good-bye.

It's not that I'm hateful, it's that I'm faithful, and I know whatever God means for me to have He'll give it to me And if it takes too much sweat I don't need it. Stop begging people to stay...Let them go!!

If you are holding on to something that doesn't belong to you and was never intended for your life, then you need to...LET IT GO!!!

If you are holding on to past hurts and pains ... LET IT GO!!!
If someone can't treat you right, love you back, and see your worth... LET IT GO!!!
If someone has angered you ... LET IT GO!!!
If you are holding on to some thoughts of evil and revenge... LET IT GO!!!
If you are involved in a wrong relationship or addiction ... LET IT GO!!!
If you are holding on to a job that no longer meets your needs or talents... LET IT GO!!!
If you have a bad attitude... LET IT GO!!!
If you keep judging others to make yourself feel better... LET IT GO!!!
If you're stuck in the past and God is trying to take you to a new level in Him... LET IT GO!!!
If you are struggling with the healing of a broken relationship.... LET IT GO!!!
If you keep trying to help someone who won't even try to help themselves... LET IT GO!!!
If you're feeling depressed and stressed ... LET IT GO!!!
If there is a particular situation that you are so used to handling yourself and God is saying "take your hands off of it," then you need to... LET IT GO!!!

Let the past be the past.
Forget the former things.
GOD is doing a new thing for you!!!

Get Right or Get Left... think about it, and then LET IT GO!!!

Trendy Source Of Juicy Info

Want to keep up with the latest fad like trendy furnitures, trendy gadgets and the latest news on your favorite local or international celebrity? Trends Source got it covered for you.

I find the website of Wocal.com very simple, no loud colors or overpowering graphics. Compared to other trend sites this one is so user friendly, easy to navigate with very easy informative articles. Topics also varies from home wear, gossips, food and drinks, toys, sports, books, pets and more! Although I wish the webmaster get the font color and text fixed as someone with eye problems will have trouble reading it. They need to work out with the spacing and paragraphing. All in all the site is good and loads real fast which is one factor of a good website.

Their recent article about the article about Sleep Diet as an effective way to lose weight and Nova Scotia's Pomegranate Phone was quite interesting for me. I did not know Robbie Williams had encounters with extraterrestrials during his vacation at the Gilliland Ranch in U.S. and had a fall-out with his girlfriend Ayda Field because of the "sightings". Wanna read more about this gossip? Visit this site for more juicy info.

My Favorite Cleaning Buddy

A house with a child living in it will never ever be 100 percent tidy after doing some cleaning. The child will always find a way to mess things up faster than you can ever fix the mess they only did couple minutes ago. Just like in our house I surrendered being too rigid about cleaning up after my daughters every mess because she can easily make a war area out of a clean place in no time.

However, since she like to put things in her mouth or roll-over the floor I make sure that the house i clean enough for her to catch some virus or anything that will make her stomach upset or worst poison her. I also make sure her toys are clean and safe in case she puts them in her mouth (which she always do) by using safe cleaning products.

Vinegar is one of the most versatile liquid in the house and is one of my favorites. Aside from using it as my regular eating buddy its also the safest deodorizer and disinfectant ever. How about you, what is your favorite and safest cleaning buddy you use in your house?

Words From The Wise When Stressed

Will this matter in 5 years from now?
If yes, then do something about the situation.
If no, then let it go."

Manila Drivers Should Take These Driving Lessons

I don't know how to drive and with the present situation of the Manila Streets here the country, particularly in Metro Manila I don't have any plans to drive. Manila drivers are very careless and rude.

I can't imagine how someone could ran over a person at a parking lot like what this woman did at the Ateneo De Manila University. This woman Ma. Theresa Torres, 37, killed a 10 year old boy Julian Carlo Miguel “Amiel” Alcantara, a Grade 4 student at this school while backing-up her vehicle and was on her phone at the same time. She also hit two other vans in that incident.
She said she was a mindful driver but how come she got involved in this ruthless accident crushing a boy with her van.

This is how ruthless drivers can be believing they are the king of the road. I think all drivers in the country should get driving lessons Sydney way and learn the ethics of driving and not just step on the gas. I'm not sure about the test people take here in the country before being allowed to get a drivers license but I do home it is like there in Sydney, Australia where the test covers the general knowledge in driving , road safety, alcohol and drugs, speed limits, defensive driving and traffic signs, among other things.

An Island Cove Adventure With Fellow Bloggers

I had an awesome day last Thursday where I went out of town with 30 other bloggers to step away from the computer for the whole day and take some physical challenge.

Yehey.com took us to the wonderful summer resort of Island Cove in Cavite for the Detour: The Island Cove Adventure and amazing race type of game where we had to brace the scorching summer heat and race for the win.

It was fun and the place was so amazing. The 36 hectares of land was intelligently used to create this wonderful getaway. A Fishing Village, a swimming area, videoke venue, a mini-zoo, paint ball area packed in one place.

I was feeling the wonderful breeze at the Fishing Village in this picture. Below are the 30 other happy bloggers with Gilber Remulla owner of the resort.

Quality And Dependable Transcription Service

Being a court reporter is a serious job. Imagine you have to take all notes of everything that is said in the court room and you have to be accurate in everything you jot down. It really amazes me how they are able to follow everything and just type away. I mean there is no room for error on this one, a wrong phrase would make a big difference in a case.

I remember when I was covering courts before I use my own short in writing down interesting points in the court room being said. Sometimes its hard for me to understand what I wrote. Thank God for tape recorders.

But if you are lazy to do transcripts especially of long court proceedings then you should use a good transcription service that provides quality and dependable court reporting like the one provided by the Courtreporternet.com. They have working with them nationwide and worldwide court reporters, videographers and transcribers. Just check out their site and see which of the services they provide you needed.

Francis "Kiko" Magalona (Francis M, Francism) passed away at exactly 12noon today March 8,2009 at The Medical City in Ortigas Center, Pasig City while undergoing his fourth chemotherapy session.

I wanted to grab some of the three pics including this one from his multiply site but I don't know maybe its a bug or a message to eveyrone to be at peace.

If you want to read more about Francis M's journey you can visit his blog. Farewell Master Rapper of the the Philippines, we will never forget you and your music. Peace!

Update: In lieu of flowers the family of late Francis Magalona would like people to donate to the Philippine Red Cross instead. A viewing of the body will be announced to the public, but for now, only family and friends will be invited to go to the wake.

Tour San Francisco Through Photos

I've never been to San Francisco, California, U.S.A. but I've heard of the famous destinations in there like the Golden Gate bridge and the Seal Rock beach. I can only dream for now to have visited the place and the only way I can have a tour around the beautiful places in there is through these breath-taking San Francisco pictures.

The one on the left is the famous Golden Gate Bridge and the other one is the Seal Rock Beach during sunset.
I think the photographer has fallen in love in that city and left his heart there as captivated by the wonderful photos he has in his collection. Go visit his site and see more lovely photos.

I Want A Sexier Belly

I am not fat but I have this ugly wobbly pillow-like tummy that I hate so much. Exercise and diet does little to get rid of them especially the loose skin after losing weight so I am considering a liposuction or a tummy tuck or both. Katrina Halili is a good example of a good lipo done and she is so sexy with that flat tummy! I want one like that!

Since Belo came here in the Philippines I believe we already have competent cosmetic surgery available but if she was not around and I have the money I would travel anywhere in the world to have these ugly kangaroo belly I have.

I believe a cosmetic surgery is great because it boost ones confidence and I absolutely understand why some do it. I mean its easier to get rid of the fat and loose skin immediately and just do the maintenance to keep it that way than work your ass out to get rid of it with too little or no result at all. That can be very frustrating.

I honestly take my cue about the wonderful result a cosmetic surgery can do from Katrina Halili, nobody knew she had liposuction until Belo accidentally told the media that she did a procedure on her. Thalia is also an amazing example of liposuction done right.

If you are considering such procedure and have many questions in mind here's some Cosmetic Surgery Information you can check out and be enlightened. From this site I found out that liposuction and tummy tuck is two different procedures I can have to get rid of my pouch belly and kangaroo skin around my tummy. They also have the information about eyebags removal, cellulite removal, breast reduction or enlargement, nose reshaping and other intimate procedures to make yourself amazing!

Know More About Mormons

I blogged about the Later Day Saints Movement couple weeks ago and I am surprised how the LDS Chat City is really promoting this chat website for this religious denomination only. I barely know about LDS honestly and there are different stuff I've heard about them that some group practice multiple marriage while some don't and some are known as the Mormons. Or so that's what I've gathered noting that they were the publisher of the book of Mormons.

Anyway, I did not know Mormons go to chat rooms until now. Yeah a big misconception, I mean I thought they live a simple life and do simple things no high tech stuff. They have their hair shaved and wear that long dress like nuns do. Yeah I don't know that much I am just talking about according to what I saw, I never have talked to a Mormon before and maybe joining this chat room will give me more info about them. Hmmm...Maybe I should try joining this LDS Chat room its free anyway. Nothing to loose but all to gain right? What's best is that we will meet new friends and gain new knowledge. There was no restriction that non-LDS members are not allowed to join, so I guess there is no harm in joining. Check it out guys!

Is Your Computer Male Or Female

"Recently, a group of computer scientists (all male) announced that computers should also be referred to as being female. Their reasons for drawing this conclusion follows:"

"Five reasons to believe computers are female:"
  1. No one but the Creator understands their internal logic.
  2. The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else.
  3. The message "Bad command or file name" is about as informative as, "If you don't know why I'm mad at you, then I'm certainly not going to tell you."
  4. Even your smallest mistakes are stored in long-term memory for later retrieval.
  5. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending half your paycheck on accessories for it.
"However, another group of computer scientists (all female) think that computers should be referred to as if they were male."

"Their reasons follow:"
  1. They have a lot of data, but are still clueless.
  2. They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they ARE the problem.
  3. As soon as you commit to one you realize that, if you had waited a little longer, you could have obtained a better model.
  4. In order to get their attention, you have to turn them on.
  5. Big power surges knock them out for the rest of the night.
So, what do you think?

Manage Your Credit Card Wisely

I just attended a Financial Literacy and Financial Management seminar yesterday and I will have to agree about the speakers note about peoples wrong notion about credit cards and how they handle their money.

I can relate to what he said that often times when I pay my credit card bill, instead of paying the exact amount due I just pay the minimum amount allowed. That was a wrong practice he said because in that way you are accumulating more interest than what you just owe. The speaker was the President of a financial institution here in the Philippines for small to medium businesses and he does understand loans and credit cards.

People should be wise in in using their credit card because its not so great to go in debt because of the huge interest rates. Before signing-up for a card it is wise to compare credit cards first and see which has lower interest rates that the others. Doing so I found out that my card rates the highest imagine it charges 15 percent a month compared to the 2-3 percent on others. Yeah I know its crazy!

Now I am happy with the new one I got because its a low interest credit card. I will no longer have sleepless nights thinking about how am I going to pay my credit card anymore and just sit and relax and enjoy using my card.

Missing Links and Followers

Blogger has been going through some transitions these past few days, maybe one of the effects being acquired by Yahoo a couple months ago.

I just lost 13 followers in one day in my Earthlingorgeous.com blog and lost all my followers in this blog, I though what happened? Did I said anything wrong that made 13 blogger friends stop following me? I was lost and surprised until one blogger told me it was the transition of the followers widget with an inclusion of the Google Friend Finder. Just today I lost a couple of post in this blog and the lay-out was went crazy and now I lost all my links.

So if you are one of those who have my link please feel free to post your comments here so I can put your links back. Thank You and Happy Sunday!
