The T-Shirt Craze

Individuality is the latest trend these days. With the recession affecting everyone in the world people are now aware of how they will spend their money and realize its not what you wear but how you wear it. I think just 5% of the population can buy original uber expensive signature while the rest buy class A imitations which I believe are fakes not cool. Why buy a fake when you can buy local, less expensive, equally beautiful and quality products for a lower price right?

Anyway, with the individuality on the rise the wear your statement shirts are now very in these days. They are the shirt with graphics either words or drawings to show a persons individual style and even advocacy like this Navy SEALs Tshirt.

I gave my sister her own statement shirt bearing her favorite label for her "Mahadera" which means Diva in English. I think it's cool. If you can do stencil you can create your own shirt and just buy some acrylic paint and materials. You can make this as your business too I believe as many want to show-off their style and statement.

Blogging Keeps Me Sane

Did you know that I maintain several other blogs and I just got two new domains this month?

I never knew how addicting blogging could be especially when you enjoy the perks you never enjoyed on your regular day job. I write what I want, nobody dictating me what to post. Attend events, get freebies, win prizes and meet celebrities is something I never thought I could ever achieve blogging.

But aside from all those wonderful perks I love blogging because it keeps me sane.

You see I am not a talkative person, or rather I don't talk if I am not being talked to. I don't open up easily to anyone and it takes time for me to warm up to be actually be the one to initiate a conversation.

My other blogs are still at work and I won't reveal them yet as I want to have at least 30 post in it before I broadcast.

Anyways I was looking for new website hosting to host my other domains because I want my main money making high trafficked blogged to have a dedicated hosting and so I will be able to get different IPs for my other blogs.

Easy To Please

When I was in grade school one of our teachers asked "Are you happy right now? Are you satisfied with your life? " Immediately my response to my teacher was "Yes, I am happy and very content." My teacher was surprised while most of my classmates laughed I think they find my answer amusing.

My teacher asked me "How could you say that?" I said "What more can I ask for? My parents provide everything I need, I am studying right now, we have a home and I have clothes to wear."

She probe some more : "But don't you have anything you want for yourself aside from the things you already have?"

I answered without hesitation: "I am happy with what my parents can give. If I want something and they can't give it I understand."

"How inspiring!" my teacher said and turned to the class saying that is what people these days should have, contentment.

During my get together with my high school classmates last December I was asked the similar question again. Without batting an eyelash I said yes, very happy. They don't believe me.

Honestly I pity the people who find it hard to see the blessings they already have in their life. They look for something that is not there ignoring whats there. I am very easy to please and easy to dismay too. Maybe that's why I am happy.

Busy Week

After the long Holiday break I am finally back to my normal grind especially with my events. This week in particular is very hectic as I have events to attend to everyday not just one even a day but two.

I'm so silly to be even drinking a glass or two of wine or tequila tonight as I can't afford not to wake on time or sleep early as I am planning to write a couple of articles before they all pile up and stress me out.

I was also suppose download video torrents of some movies I failed to watch during the Holiday especially those from the film festival since I was out of town getting a tan and had no time to drop by a movie house and spare some time to watch a movie that I can download anyway.

I should be sleeping now but I need to finish my beauty regimen wash face etc. using the new product that was given to me by my favorite cosmetics company for a review. Eyes are getting heavy I'm getting sleepy. Talk to you all soon. Good night.

Laptop Cum Breakfast Table

I wasn't feeling well on my birthday a couple days ago, I was having those Birthday blahs because nobody greeted me yet when I woke up and nobody prepared anything special for me.
I wanted to sulk in my bed and not get up and just have the day pass by if not for a couple of things I need to do and places I need to go to.

My bed is a comfy place to be in when days like these comes. Its like one of those bedroom set displays at your favorite furniture showroom.

So yeah I got up ate my daughters birthday cake and eat it too. I went out for an event with my daughter and well I am glad I did because I had super fun with my date with my daughter at Manila Polo Club where she ate all 3 plates of pancit. Then we had a fun day at the arcade where we rode those crazy rides she love.

Going home I was happy to find a nice gift delivered at my doorstep from someone I did not expect to remember my day. She was the only one who gave me a gift for my birthday a laptop that can double as a breakfast table made of bamboo. It was a nice feeling. I appreciate it much.

So my day didn't end bla at all. Thanks to people like her who made my day.

Comfortable Shoes

I don't wear much high heels, I never liked them much. I only wear them when the occasion and the dress I wore calls for it but as much as I could I don't wear them lots. I know they can add height to vertically challenged people like me but fir me comfort is still my priority when it comes to my foot wear.

I am glad that ballerina shoes, gladiator shoes, and flat boots like UGG came to fashion and are here to stay. I guess because people realized that what's the use wearing fashionable 4 inches stilettos when you have to worry about callouses and foot discomfort.

I love them Ugg boots they are so comfortable to the feet. They hug and care for your feet like a real good friend. I like the ones made of sheepskin, but there are also designs made of leather and suedes.

There's an Ugg boots sale at the Ugg Mall, some of them are sold at 50%-70% less! Are you looking for a cardy boots, mini boots, tall boots, metallic boots, button boots, knit boots or kid boots? They are all there.

Take this classic black short boots for example. It is usually sold at $110.00 but now it's sold for $45.00! It's made of llavish twin-faced sheepskin for the utmost comfort. Hand wash only!

Or how about this Classic Tall boots in Chestnut Wrapped . It can be worn folded down to show off the fluffy sheep skin for a different look and accent. Just a reminder these boots are not made for snow and ice or heavy walking. They are simply for fashion and comfort!

There are ugg boots for kids sold at $29.99 each. There are so many colors and designs that are fun and funky that kids will surely love and moms will adore!

Best And Worst Auto Film Ever

Play It Safe made a list of their best and worst car movies taking note aspects like the cars used, the actors/drivers, the women and what these movies did with the cars involved in them.

SafeAuto or anything about car safety and auto insurance is set aside when making these movies. What the people want, especially the car enthusiast who is up for an adrenaline rush is a display of gorgeous looking cards racing to their limit.

The best car movies for them are the following:
1) American Graffiti (1973) directed by George Lucas featuring Richard Dreyfuss, Ron Howard, and Harrison Ford. The cars featured was a 1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe and 1958 Edsel Corsair.
2) Thunder Road (1958) with Robert Mitchum sporting a 1957 Chevrolet and a 1950 Ford
3) Bullitt (1968) with Steve McQueen staring along with the 1968 Charger and 1968 Mustang
4) Blues Brothers (1980) with John Belushi and Dan Akroyd and a 1974 Dodge Monaco police car
5) Smokey and The Bandit (1977) which stars Burt Reynolds.

Honestly, I've never seen any of these movies before. But if you would watch the short clip attached in there you would see the preference of the author and probably is thinking about the insurance coverage.

The worst car movies for them were
1) Herbie: Fully Loaded (2005) probably because it stars Lindsey Lohan in the film.
2) Driven (2001)
3) Speed Racer (2008)
4) The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006) having this on the movie surprised me but if you have these awesome cars you should be worried if what Diesel and Walker were doing with these expensive cars can be covered by car insurance.
5) Days of Thunder (1990) - if Tom Cruise is in the film I might watch it.

I was surprised that Gone in 60 Seconds was not included in their best movie about cars.

However, just a friendly reminder no matter how good or bad these movies looked like, depending on who's watching and his or her preference, keep in mind that the stunts these cars are doing could not and will never ever be covered in your car insurance. They are simply made for pleasure and purely for entertainment purposes only and should not be imitated.
