Happiness is contagious,

when you reflect happiness

all others around you

catch the happy bug

and become happy too.

For most of us, happiness is just barely out of reach. We know we can achieve it. It is just a couple "if only's" away. We tell ourselves, "If only _____, then I'd be happy. I could relax." Therefore, we pursue what we feel is missing - confident in the knowledge that while we are not happy right now, we will be soon. When the time comes that we achieved that “if’s” we we’re after again we come to the point of telling ourselves again something still feels missing. New "if only's" pops up to replace the old ones. Again, we are caught in a race with a moving finish line. Contentment is more elusive than we had originally thought. Eventually, if we want to be happy, we must come to grips with an important fact. That we have been fooling ourselves. Contentment, it turns out, is not a destination. Rather, it is a manner of traveling. If we cannot feel it today, we will not find it tomorrow.

Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever. Be happy now!
