This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of NMEDA. All opinions are 100% mine.
Its sad how disable people are disregarded in third world countries like in the Philippines. They are forced to just stay at their homes or at a convenient place for them and for the "normal" people so as not to be an annoyance or disturbance to anyone.
It was disabled awareness last week and some of the members of this minority showed to the world how inaccessible it is to live in the country. They tried out the so called access points for them in public places including the people's walway/ overpass in EDSA and it was only then that they realized how inaccessible it was to use. It was too steep for a disabled person to use. In public transport although there is an allocated space for them they can't really use it because they drivers would rather not choose to take them as passengers because they need to be carried inside.
Because of this disabled are forced to use their wheelchair as a means of their transportation. But most of their wheelchairs are not that durable or not for transport use.
I hope our government will try to look at ways we can help the disabled and probably check on NMEDA so they can provide them with customized wheelchairs that they can also use for transport since reconstructing sidewalks and people's overpass will cost them more.
NMEDA will be willing to help them since they promote safety to disabled individuals. They adhere to the safety standards of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Maybe the government can also purchase handicap vans and vehicles that are solely for disabled person.
This will be a better option that rebuilding all the structures that are already there. NMEDA can help us find the solution to this problem and make life more easier to the disabled. NMEDA had dealers we can contact although they are only available in the US. Their Quality Assurance Program is a recognized accreditation program for the Adaptive Mobility Equipment Industry they are very experienced when it comes to such need.
I saw Henry Sy Sr.being carried around by his caregivers so he can go around his chains of malls nationwide I think he would be delighted to find out that he can have a customized vehicle for him. I think he will also be delighted to know he can still drive a vehicle if he finds out about this.

There's No Such Thing As Free Lunch
Everything has a price. Even those who claim its free there is always something in exchange for it. Like online contest and promos. You have to atleast pretend to like them enough to write or post about them.
If you want something you have to work for it. That's what's its all about. There's no such thing as free lunch. You either pay for it or you do something in return. A favor for a favor.
Such is also the business of politics. You don't really think supporters just support because they believe in the persons ability to do what is good for the country. They supported a certain candidate because its a part of their investment. In business there are so many ways to deal and succeed. Some invest in stocks and bonds and learn about the
options trading system while some invest in people and what these people can do for them.

Short Month
It's the first month of February and unlike the long dragging but fun month of January expect this month to be super fast and super short. We only have 28 days. So have fun, stay safe and don't complain if this month goes fast because it is short of 2 days. You can make up for the lost days next month.
Valentine Chinese New Year 2010
2010's Chinese New Year is interesting because it falls on a Valentines day. For sure everywhere will be painted red because of the hearts for Valentines and the red for good luck in Chinese belief.
For sure all restaurants all over the world who celebrates both will have a full house and most would request to use round dining room tables because round is also considered as good luck by the Chinese. Circle symbolizes cash and infinite luck.
Some also like to go have their future read before the Chinese New Year so they would know how to counter back luck if any and how to enhance their luck with charms and rituals they need to do on the eve of the celebration. This is why I am super excited to attend that Psychic Festival and have a reading.
Spreading coins all over the house is also considered good luck. Its also important to have the house spick-and-span before the New Year so get someone to clean your homes soon .

Blogging Keeps Me Sane
Did you know that I maintain several other blogs and I just got two new domains this month?
I never knew how addicting blogging could be especially when you enjoy the perks you never enjoyed on your regular day job. I write what I want, nobody dictating me what to post. Attend events, get freebies, win prizes and meet celebrities is something I never thought I could ever achieve blogging.
But aside from all those wonderful perks I love blogging because it keeps me sane.
You see I am not a talkative person, or rather I don't talk if I am not being talked to. I don't open up easily to anyone and it takes time for me to warm up to be actually be the one to initiate a conversation.
My other blogs are still at work and I won't reveal them yet as I want to have at least 30 post in it before I broadcast.
Anyways I was looking for new website hosting to host my other domains because I want my main money making high trafficked blogged to have a dedicated hosting and so I will be able to get different IPs for my other blogs.

Easy To Please
When I was in grade school one of our teachers asked "Are you happy right now? Are you satisfied with your life? " Immediately my response to my teacher was "Yes, I am happy and very content." My teacher was surprised while most of my classmates laughed I think they find my answer amusing.
My teacher asked me "How could you say that?" I said "What more can I ask for? My parents provide everything I need, I am studying right now, we have a home and I have clothes to wear."
She probe some more : "But don't you have anything you want for yourself aside from the things you already have?"
I answered without hesitation: "I am happy with what my parents can give. If I want something and they can't give it I understand."
"How inspiring!" my teacher said and turned to the class saying that is what people these days should have, contentment.
During my get together with my high school classmates last December I was asked the similar question again. Without batting an eyelash I said yes, very happy. They don't believe me.
Honestly I pity the people who find it hard to see the blessings they already have in their life. They look for something that is not there ignoring whats there. I am very easy to please and easy to dismay too. Maybe that's why I am happy.

Busy Week
After the long Holiday break I am finally back to my normal grind especially with my events. This week in particular is very hectic as I have events to attend to everyday not just one even a day but two.
I'm so silly to be even drinking a glass or two of wine or tequila tonight as I can't afford not to wake on time or sleep early as I am planning to write a couple of articles before they all pile up and stress me out.
I was also suppose download video torrents of some movies I failed to watch during the Holiday especially those from the film festival since I was out of town getting a tan and had no time to drop by a movie house and spare some time to watch a movie that I can download anyway.
I should be sleeping now but I need to finish my beauty regimen wash face etc. using the new product that was given to me by my favorite cosmetics company for a review. Eyes are getting heavy I'm getting sleepy. Talk to you all soon. Good night.
