"Did you see that? Tasha is so determined to learn how to swim! I'm so proud of her!"
“Quitters are losers.” We’ve heard of that quote too often now, especially when we do something that we just continue failing or keep doing the things that make it not work.
The habit of quitting is the easiest exit for us when we go into an uncomfortable and unhappy territory of failure and temporary defeat. As humans we are guilty of this mistake at one time or another.
Desire plus will power though, will assure our success in life and achieving whatever we want. Life is not an easy path to travel, we will sure to meet temporary defeat in our battles and perhaps some failures too. Determination is your key to achieve what you want. Logically, we will immediately quit when we experience defeat by some setbacks and windfalls, it’s the easiest way out of that painful state. Backing out is what exactly majority of men do. But those who are successful know that temporary inconvenience and minor set-backs don’t compare to the glory of success.
Henry Ford’s attitude with his success “I want it and I will have it.” No matter how other people discourage him that what he wants to achieve is impossible, wanting to build the V-8 motor. But he did not listen to them and still choose to build it, now he is a legend.
Failure is the trickster with a keen sense of irony and cunning it takes great delight in tripping one when success is almost within reach. Keep your focus and remind yourself of the brilliance of accomplishment you will feel once you achieve what you want.

Hello Earthlingorgeous,
Determination is my middle name, I am determined to complete what I start. It may not always turn out the way I expected or hoped for but that's just the way it goes sometimes. One thing is for sure, when you follow anything to it's completion you will always feel a sense of accomplishment.
There is a song by the Rolling Stones that fits this post very well.
"You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes you just might find, you get what you need."

Wow thanks for the link for that Rolling Stone Youtube vid Donald.
We can't always get what we want that is true because we get what we deserve.
Life could really sucks sometimes!
I guess growing up without my mother forced me to be strong.
I had no one to kiss my tears away or kiss my scratches and wounds.
It was hard, but it made me tough.
yeah I agree pie sometimes more often than not all the low points in our life teaches us to be strong and tough.
Well, you were determined that made you through even without an anchor to rely on too but God on your side. Keep the faith.
oh wow thanks bonnie :)
got a tag for you @ http://wahm.blogpostie.com
thanks crissy
Crissy redirected that tag to my Earthly Explorations blog :)
Hi :) I've done the scanning before and found those questionable links. I did not intend to delete at first their links because when I traced it back to their sites it's all about their PAID BLOGGING BUSINESS.
A dear friend of mine included in my links has several blogs with PR4 and PR3 rankings from Google. I told her about it before since sooner I will be applying Housewife @ Work on paid blogging and she said its upon the author to choose the links depending on their preference. Online casinos and gambling are some of the topics of their tasks and they can't afford to delete it because that's an agreement.
Most of the questionable links are from our fellow filipinos and the scanning as I look at it only enumerates 40 links. Is that complete already???
Maybe we can exchange ideas about it. Thanks.
yeah I was told it was about the links like those casino and gambling sites that mostly have spamming thingies and that's what the questionable link was about... mine scanned only a couple links too there like more than a thousand links but only a few with questionable ones... the other Filipino links I have are not deleted though so I don't think it's against Filipino sites
Hi Earthlingorgeous,
What do you think about backing up from something that we kept on failing just because it doesn't suit us, and to change direction to another path that has a better chance for success?
And what about to withdraw from the battle temporarily to take a breath, to study the situation and to plan a better strategy before jumping into the battle again?
Another great post from a nice person.
Have a great week!
Well this is the core of this post "Don't give up too soon and don't hang on too long."
If it's dragging and draining you already and you are not happy anymore then leave but if you believe that there is something good at your end goal then go for it.
I'm glad she had so much fun swimming. I'm a total fish when it comes to water.
Reading about Tasha reminded me of something I read from Sir Richard Branson's books. His Auntie Joyce bet with him ten shillings he wouldn't learn to swim but he did; not on first try, but after many attempts. The key thing was he never gave up.
I definitely agree with you that life is not an easy path to travel. There will bound to be challenges. Challenges in life are to help us to grow and to develop. They are not to stop us.
Thanks BK :)
Also I believe we should let our kids learn on their own to experience life to the fullest. If we become so protective of them then they will be weak.
"Failure is only a temporary roadblock to success."
If this is not a saying already, then I claim it as my own.
It could be an inspiration for not quiting though :)
