The Chateau de Fougeres is an imposing fort, built on a naturally protected site, a rock emerging from a swamp surrounded by a loop of the Nancon river acting as a natural moat.
It had three different enclosures: the first for defensive purposes; the second for day to day usages in peacetime and for safety of the surrounding populations in times of siege; and the last for the protection of the keep. In all it has an impressive 13 towers.

The miedeval Citadel of Carcassonne is located on a hill on the right bank of the River Aude, in the south-east part of the city proper. Founded during the Gallo-Roman period, the citadel derives its reputation from its 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) long double surrounding walls interspersed by 52 towers.
The town of Carcassonne has about 2,500 years of history and has seen the Romans, Visigoths, Saracens and Crusaders. The citadel was restored at the end of the 19th century and in 1997 it was added to UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites.

The royal Chateau de Chambord is one of the most recognizable castles in the world because of its very distinctive French Renaissance architecture which blends traditional French medieval forms with classical Renaissance structures. The building, which was never completed, was constructed by King Francis I of France.
Chambord is the largest castle in the Loire Valley; it was built to serve as a hunting lodge for Francis I, who maintained his royal residences at the chateaux of Blois and Amboise. The original design of the Chateau de Chambord is attributed, though with some doubt, to Domenico da Cortona; Leonardo da Vinci may also have been involved.

The royal Chateau at Amboise was confiscated by the monarchy in the 15th century, it became a favoured royal residence and was extensively rebuilt. King Charles VIII died at the chateau in 1498 after hitting his head on a door lintel.
The chateau fell into decline from the second half of the 16th century and the majority of the interior buildings were later demolished, but some survived and have been restored, along with the outer defensive circuit of towers and walls. It has been recognised as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture since 1840.
Leonardo da Vinci is buried in the Chapel of Saint-Hubert, adjoining the Chateau, which had been built in 1491-96.

Insensitive or Sensitive

Dear God,

Make me less sensitive and make other people less insensitive.  Obviously I still hurt and maybe I should let go.

I thought we can be friends but I don't think I can handle it. I have so many issues with him that I guess are not resolved.

How Safe Is Your Kids In School?

We will never know what our kids do the entire time they are in school.  We don't know who they talk to, what they touch and what they ate.  It is not good to be paranoid but when it comes to our kids health and well being prevention is always better than finding the cure.  So  how Safe Is Your Kids In School? from germs and virus that is.  Make sure they use this cleaning agent in their school or have your child bring one with him all the time.  What am I talking about?

Homeschooling A Person With Learning Disabilities

I've been sending my daughter to a special school for kids with learning disabilities and special needs for more than 5 years now, while it has been rewarding since I've seen a lot of changes and improvements in her, I am now considering homeschooling since most of the school date falls on a rainy and stromy weather which hampers school days. Honestly, I realized I am paying too much and not get the same as paid. When they did something I did not like with my daughter one day I don't want to send her to school anymore. She is no different from the other kids I hope they don't treat the other kids the same. Anyway, I am browsing the schools for learning disabilities and I saw a number of school who would consider homeschooling using their curriculum. I heard they use orton gilingham training with their staff and their students so everyone can guarantee good education and value for their money. This school also uses iPad progam which is great, my daughter is good with computers and gadgets. I bet she will learn a lot from this! I love that they teach the student according to their strenght and they give an individual approach as well and not in groups. I believe that group learning or the normal school setting or what they call mainstream suits normal kids with average learning skills. While kids with special needs would do well in an individualized program. They also offer visual learning art where I saw this metal wall art that was made by one of their students. Super nice. If I were you I will be open for such learning style. I think kids will learn much better in such a setting compared to the mainstream style now where a classroom is packed with not lower than 60 kids.

What Can Make Me Happy

Its so hard to find a meaningful smile.right now. Especially now that I am still hurting. All I wish is that someone to become miserable, for that someone has taken away all the good things in me. I am more dubious of.other people. I alway feel they are going to use and hurt me. I'm more than cautious , I'm much more susicious and paranoid and have become and will become the person I hate.

To you who is uninvited to read this and stalk my mind, aren't you always so unfair. You can stak me.all you want through my blogs while I have no means of doing the same to you because you don't blog. Aren't you so selfish and unfair to threaten me and my entire family. You broke.my heart already. You took away my life and you want more by taking away my family's life and reputation. You want to destroy me. If I was being cruel.to you with all the words I write.here or in anyway... If you prick me, do I not bleed?

My happiness, a great chunk of it was anchored on you, for the past 8 years of my life. You've been my bestfriend whom I shated most of me than I ever did with anyone else in my life. We talked everyday night and day all those years. I have shared so many tears and joys and dreams with you. Losing you has taken away a big part of me. The saddest part was you don't wanna fight for what we had.

I can't want someone who gave up already. I can't fight for someone who doesn't want to fight anymore. That makes me mad about you. You don't strive hard you just take whatever is thrown at you. Just like with women anyone who pulls thei undies down you screw.

Who says he loves me and will show that love in any way he can. Who will never let me go once he got me in his arms . Who will not just give me a ring, but will put the ring on me.

He sounds like a perfect man but he is not and he exist and I will meet him soon. When I do I will be happy again. You will be forgotten and you can have your ring back. I hate people who break their promises, but sometimes I hate myself more for once believed in their sweet words and lies.

I went to an Avon event the other day and the event was happiness!  The Mariott Hotel's ballroom was turned into a huge salon where guest were treated to a fun Tres Treat so we can fully experience the star of the launch.  The Avon Advanced Technique Lotus Shield.

Sorry For No Updates

I'm sorry for neglecting this blog for awhile now.  I'm too caught up in updating my other blogs that I neglect this one.  I should keep it updated since its all about my happiness.  Not updating it make it appear that I don't find any happiness in my life now.  But really its the other way around.  I just don't find time to drop by I have no excuse but that.  Laziness and priority.  This blog isn't my priority.  I was focusing on my self-hosted blogs than this.

There's so many things to tell you about.  So many great things that happened since I stopped writing here.  I'll try to write once a week.  Hopefully and get my rhythm of writing daily and write sensible things and not just anything.  Write the way I used to and not just for commercial purposes.  Meanwhile, I need to blog for my sponsors so until next post. Tissue Is Not Enough

Germs cause sickness. The more germs spread, the more sickness spreads.
In this season of on-and-off rain showers, the effects of germs are easy to see everywhere. And children are taking the brunt of it because their immune systems are not as strong as adults’, making them more susceptible to contagious diseases like colds, cough and flu.

To put a stop to the continuous attack of germs on children, frequent and proper hand washing must become a national habit. But here is where the problem lies. Despite the public’s knowledge of the benefits of hand washing, very few actually take the time to do it. Majority is convinced that covering their mouths with a tissue is enough to stop germs but the truth is, the only way to stop them is to kill them.

Safeguard wants to help champion hand washing and its benefits by convincing Filipinos to stop grabbing just tissues and instead start grabbing hand soap. One of its most recent efforts to forward this cause was the creation of a fictitious tissue brand called Sneeze n Sniffles.

Sneeze n Sniffles look like ordinary boxes of tissue but once opened, they reveal faces of different kids printed on each tissue. The headline simply reads: This won’t stop germs from reaching him/her. The boxes have been handed out at select places for free since December and will be a continuing effort until the end of February.

The hope for this effort is to get more and more Filipinos to start a hand washing habit and therefore stop Filipino children from being attacked by germs and sickness.

How To Enable The Disabled

Its sad how disable people are disregarded in third world countries like in the Philippines. They are forced to just stay at their homes or at a convenient place for them and for the "normal" people so as not to be an annoyance or disturbance to anyone.

It was disabled awareness last week and some of the members of this minority showed to the world how inaccessible it is to live in the country. They tried out the so called access points for them in public places including the people's walway/ overpass in EDSA and it was only then that they realized how inaccessible it was to use. It was too steep for a disabled person to use. In public transport although there is an allocated space for them they can't really use it because they drivers would rather not choose to take them as passengers because they need to be carried inside.

Because of this disabled are forced to use their wheelchair as a means of their transportation. But most of their wheelchairs are not that durable or not for transport use.

I hope our government will try to look at ways we can help the disabled and probably check on NMEDA so they can provide them with customized wheelchairs that they can also use for transport since reconstructing sidewalks and people's overpass will cost them more.

NMEDA will be willing to help them since they promote safety to disabled individuals. They adhere to the safety standards of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Maybe the government can also purchase handicap vans and vehicles that are solely for disabled person.



This will be a better option that rebuilding all the structures that are already there. NMEDA can help us find the solution to this problem and make life more easier to the disabled. NMEDA had dealers we can contact although they are only available in the US. Their Quality Assurance Program is a recognized accreditation program for the Adaptive Mobility Equipment Industry they are very experienced when it comes to such need.

I saw Henry Sy Sr.being carried around by his caregivers so he can go around his chains of malls nationwide I think he would be delighted to find out that he can have a customized vehicle for him. I think he will also be delighted to know he can still drive a vehicle if he finds out about this.

Father's Day Thoughts

My father, whom I called Papa as our term for endearment would never tell me what to do and how to do it. It was different to what our cousins tell us he was with them, he was very strict with the. His parenting style when it comes to us was a hands-off one, although he laid his hands on me a couple times I had lash marks here and there when I was a young girl because I was very mischievous. Because of that I grew afraid of him and we never got really close.

Now that he is gone and I hear nice stories about how he was like, I feel amiss, because I never knew my father the way they tell me he was. Maybe because I grew distant of him and even wish him gone couple of times.

I saw a commercial on TV today its a little girl and an old man, probably a grandchild and a grandfather. It reminded me of my dad and my daughter. My dad use to give her his biscuits, she would sit on his lap. Realizing how weak and how painful my father's body was after his death, he endured my daughter's ways. I'm glad my daughter was able to show my father love even for a bit.

I miss you Papa. I love you. Happy Father's Day, wherever you are.

Detached

I'm sorry I have neglected this blog, it was created with a good theme and a good start that earned its good standing at the search engines. But since I am blogging full time for a living, I have set aside my personal thoughts and opinion and try to be objective in a way in my posts which leaves me not much room to be too emotional and too personal.

It doesn't mean I am detached I'm just busy with "work". I'm happy because I'm working at home doing things I love and stay with my family. I don't have any boss or time to keep. I work according to my terms and nobody else.

I will try my best to update this blog at least once a week.
