April 22 is Earth day and what better way to celebrate than to know more about Earth. What do you know about Earth? Hmmmm I see some people scratching their heads in confusion. Hahahahaha!
Well, Donald asked in a previous comment in my blog, why and how did I become Earthlingorgeous? It’s not the first time I got asked that, almost everyone I meet have that one particular question in mind upon hearing or reading my ID Earthlingorgeous (a combination of Earthling and gorgeous).
The name will speak for itself I am an Earthling and I am gorgeous therefore, I am Earthlingorgeous! Its common sense right, do I have to elaborate that? Hahaha!
Kidding aside, my nickname since I started working more than 12 years ago is Earth, no kidding. Everyone I worked with knows me as Earth and they call me Earth. So I am not misleading anyone or even hiding who I am.
But Earthlingorgeous just happened 6 years ago, when I started writing in English. I used to be Earthlinganda, I even have my trademark with that. My boss would say, “very creative” because all poster/invitations I make for the company events I would put my logo in there. Then people at work started calling me EG when they secretly talk about me, or their codename for me. How did I know when it was secret? Well some tattle tale friend co-worker told me.
Where did I get the name Earth?
Isn’t that an obvious question? Our ever dear planet of course!
Actually, it’s jumbled letters of my full name including my family’s pet name for me. But I bet you will just get dizzy trying to figure out what my real name is or even my pet name for that matter.
I love my nick name, especially the variations people call me. Subordinates call me Ms. Earth, while some would call me Earthy, Earthling, Mother Earth or Earthlingorgeous.
