Home Makeover

My bedroom is full of memories both sad and happy.  Some I want to forget, some I want to remember for the rest of my life.

The bed I am sleeping on has a lot of memories as well.  I bought it 10 years ago before my daughter was born.  I've been wanting to replace it because the matress is all torn and the spring is almost breaking out of it.   The bed frame just broke recently when the daughter and her aunt decided to have fun and played trampoline with it.

I removed the bedframe already and what's left is the matress.  I will be going to a furniture store tomorrow and buy our new bed which will suit our changing lifestyle.  I am planning for a double decker or the one with a pull-out or maybe just a Queen size bed, because daughter and I sleep together and will sleep together forever!

The store I am looking at is on sale and I am looking at a real good deal.  I already asked the PR and they said they offer furniture shipping with all the purchases from them.  I also hope they can take away my old bed as there's no room for it here at home.  Storing it will just take a lot of space and well I need all the space I can get.  Wish me luck!

How Safe Is Your Kids In School?

We will never know what our kids do the entire time they are in school.  We don't know who they talk to, what they touch and what they ate.  It is not good to be paranoid but when it comes to our kids health and well being prevention is always better than finding the cure.  So  how Safe Is Your Kids In School? from germs and virus that is.  Make sure they use this cleaning agent in their school or have your child bring one with him all the time.  What am I talking about?

Are You Like A Pogi?

Homeschooling A Person With Learning Disabilities

I've been sending my daughter to a special school for kids with learning disabilities and special needs for more than 5 years now, while it has been rewarding since I've seen a lot of changes and improvements in her, I am now considering homeschooling since most of the school date falls on a rainy and stromy weather which hampers school days. Honestly, I realized I am paying too much and not get the same as paid. When they did something I did not like with my daughter one day I don't want to send her to school anymore. She is no different from the other kids I hope they don't treat the other kids the same. Anyway, I am browsing the schools for learning disabilities and I saw a number of school who would consider homeschooling using their curriculum. I heard they use orton gilingham training with their staff and their students so everyone can guarantee good education and value for their money. This school also uses iPad progam which is great, my daughter is good with computers and gadgets. I bet she will learn a lot from this! I love that they teach the student according to their strenght and they give an individual approach as well and not in groups. I believe that group learning or the normal school setting or what they call mainstream suits normal kids with average learning skills. While kids with special needs would do well in an individualized program. They also offer visual learning art where I saw this metal wall art that was made by one of their students. Super nice. If I were you I will be open for such learning style. I think kids will learn much better in such a setting compared to the mainstream style now where a classroom is packed with not lower than 60 kids.

Car Buying For A Noob

I don't know a thing about a car, well ok I might know a few like break, hood, accelerator, seatbelt, bumper, and winshield. I also know about car brands, Maza, Toyota, Ferari, BMW, Mercedez-Benz, etc. I even want to see an F1 race live someday soon (to see the cars and the drivers mwahahaa!) Anyway, I tried to learn how to drive in college but I did not do well, I almost hit a post and that was the end of my driving lessons. I still like window shopping for cars, in fact I am now looking at second hand cars and utility vehicles at http://www.autousatexas.com and just looking at them makes me wish I can drive so I can try those wheels myself. For pre-owned cars they darn look good and brandnew. But what do I know I don't drive. I might have to bring a driver and mechanic when I buy my first car. The mechanic would have to see whatever I need when I drive and what should be in a working car like probably the condition of the retrofit air conditioning , the clutch, the break, the whatevers inside the hood of a car. But I think I don't have to worry much about the quality of cars I will get in this website as they look trustworthy, afterall they also offer financing for those who can qualify and offer other financial assistance or solutions to those who have bad credit. Another outstanding feature they have is the after sales warranty service, or post warranty service of the convenience of all their customers. I heard the after sale service from them is one of the major turn-on for most customers and some even come back to buy their second and third car from them. So, if a noob like me will buy her first car I think this will be the place for me to go to. How about you, where did you buy your first car?

Lacoste Spring / Summer 2013 Collection: Bold New Print Details

This are the print design I was talking about in my earlier poste they are from the Lacoste Spring / Summer 2013 Collection: Bold New Print Details  You can only see the detail when you look real close which is way cool!  A subtle yet bold statement and branding.  I love it!

Having My Brand On Print

When I saw the Lacoste Spring Summer 2013 collection, I got inspired to have my logo and brand printed on fabric. The problem is I don't know where to find someone who do such service until I bumped into this commercial printing site that offers a lot of services when it comes to printing needs. Thank goodness they also accept apparel printing, I just don't know if they can accept or do the same lay-out I have in mind but maybe with the proper push they will do it since they say they are "creative as your wildest imagination." A sample of their apparel printing was the shirts from the Doritos campaign that looked really good. I think my requirement will not be difficult for them as I would just ask them to have my prints in a whole fabric sheet and I'll be the one to make it anyway I want, be it a dress, a pants a skirt, or anything! They also master in marketing and branding so they would understand my requirement. I like what I see in their website and if they did a good job on the first transaction with them I might be a loyal customer. Especially now that the Christmas season is near, company souvenir items is a thing for giveaways. I don't know how much they charge it is not indicated in the site. I think you need to contact them to get a quotation. All I know is that they use hazmat shipping with all the products order through them. They need to use this kind of shipping because of the smell of the paint materials used in printing which is understandable . Oh! and if you require them to use green printing solutions they have it which I think is great because some paint materials can be really hazardous to the environment. It would be great if most printing companies offer such service. I'm glad they do.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Wedding

This is the kind of wedding humble A-lister celebrities who is in it for the love and not the media circus they can create.  Everyone was surprised about the Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Wedding this weekend.  Who would have thought right?  The Greenlantern couple getting married this soon!  I hope the marriage last! :)  Kudos to you both!

On The Floor

Our house was built in the 1990's and that being said the house is more than 20 years old and a major repair is badly needed. It has been through a lot, storm and wear and tear and even earthquake and I've notice a lot of cracks on the walls and on the flooring. The roof is also dripping when it rains. I was looking for floor panels when I stumble upon http://www.acadianflooringamericalaplace.com. They have extensive selection of flooring panels, tiles, hardwood, Laminate, Vinyl and materials that I can't get over with. They also have a wide selection of floor carpets that I imagine looks good in my bedroom and my newly installed wall paper! You can select on color, brand and price range and by material be it hardwood, laminate, or vinyl. Same goes for carpetry. If you are planning to build a home or have a home makeover consider checking out this website as they give free estimates and will give you suggestions on what suit your needs and lifestyle best. They do free installations too and also accept financing subject to credit approval. So there's nothing to lose. Their website is so helpful and extensive that they also give tips on how to save of floor installations and ways you can do the installing yourself. Isnt' that neat.
